I LOVE THIS PLACE!

Starting at 11 am before check in the staff was very friendly and assuring every time I called to push back our arrival (ended up being 3 am). The hotel was sold out so thank goodness for them they checked me in first call and had my keys ready as soon as I walked in. 2 or 3 employees behind desk at arrival and every single one was friendly and pleasant. Room was adorable, clean and comfy, and already had AC on and cooled off! You hardly find that! I found my new stop point for my 15 hour trips. Yea maybe only 6 hours in but the hotel is worth the longer drive day 2! You want that night in between to be super restful and this is my 8th car trip and without a doubt my favorite hotel! These days as a single mom in the middle of the night you never feel safe until you're inside your room. They made me feel safe with their professionalism and kindness. Thank you! When you're on a road trip it means a lot to have that half way home spot to really rest. Hit the jackpot with the whole package here!

Nice property and room. Guest check in desk needs a countertop so I can put my purse down to get a credit card out for check in. It’s silly small. Lady at desk was extremely nice! Very modern and nice entrance/lobby. The halls are a bit dark. Room was very nice except there shouldn’t be rugs in the rooms period. There appeared to be dog stains on it which was gross looking but no smell. The sink wasn’t wiped down and no hand soap-I had to ask. The rest of the room and shower was very clean. The pool area was needing upkeep. The ventilation system needs a vent to be able to blow the very strong chlorine smell out. The door to it is hard to pull open since it’s like a vacuum-the exhaust vent is plenty strong but with no second vent it is pointless. Someone using the pool left their towel and kids underwear right at the entrance on the floor. Between seeing that and chlorine smell we did not swim. It did have a nice fire pit in the back.

Refused Valid Reservation – Left Stranded with Kid

We had a confirmed reservation at Aloft Florence through Hotels.com . After driving all day with two young children, including a toddler, we arrived late at night only to be told the hotel was “fully booked”—even though our reservation was active in their system. The woman at the front desk refused to help, hid in the back room, and ignored us for over 30 minutes. She eventually said her manager told her to send us to a nearby motel, then hung up and refused to answer the phone again. We were left exhausted and stressed, with no assistance, and had to find another hotel at our own expense. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable. Avoid this hotel unless you want to risk being stranded, especially with kids.
