Great hotel close to Santa Maria Novella.

This is our favorite place to stay when we train up to Florence. It’s only about two blocks from Santa Maria Novella, and it’s on a quiet street. At the same time a couple of right turns and you’re in the heart of restaurants and small shops. The lobby is beautifully made, and maintained in the rooms are clean, spacious, with plenty of storage space and an electronic information device. The bathrooms are also spacious and I personally love their showers as they are easy to access and easy to adjust both the height and the water temperature. They have a great breakfast in the morning and friendly staff willing to help you with anything you need. My girlfriend needed a quick cab to the airport And staff quickly helped her obtain a cab. This is a very nice hotel and one of my favorites. When you are arriving in Florence, there is no better place to stay.

The staff was excellent and extremely helpful. But the mattress was hard, the sheets were rough and there was a plastic liner under the bottom sheet that held heat all night. The room otherwise was clean and comfortable.

The property was lovely. Walking distance to everything and the train station was a hop skip and a jump away. The breakfast was amazing, and was ready earlier than expected, so our early tour at 7 did not prevent us from picking up a croissant before heading out.

Superior Stay - Great Staff

Above all, the staff was superior. Incredibly welcoming and helpful, we could always count on them to handle any requests in a most positive fashion. Special kudos to Paolo and James. Good location, beds not the best, windows opened to a tiny quad where the other windows were residents so was noisy, room was stuffy but would be better once AC is turned on. Staff was super nice and helpful..picked hotel due to location and price.
