We stayed two nights in mid Jan. I am very disappointed with this hotel. It is 4 stars on Expedia. I would think it is self-reported 4 stars. The owner probably equipped it with a few checkbox amenities such as a safe, a "mini bar" and so on to claim it.
1. No reception standing at the front desk (it was 11:30 in the morning). The street door was locked until ring a bell.
2. Immediate sensed an unpleasant smell in the lobby, as if someone just had a smelly meal.
3. The room key card is laminated with the room number for re-use. It is dirty and worn out.
4. The room was very code with a wall AC unit off when we entered. Also, the room had a very strong bleach smell. It took a few hours to warm the room up.
5. The WiFi did not work at first. Wanted to ask the front desk but found out that the phone was broken.
6. The room is very small, barely holds the beds with no much additional space. No table and no chairs.
7. The wall AC unit barely kept the room warm with max fan. It is extremely loud. You feel as if in an engine room or an airplane.
8. No cup or glass
All in all, 4-starts is a scam in my view. If you expect a 4-stars or 3-stars, skip it. If you see a deep discount, don't fall for it. Expedia really should downgrade this hotel.
