Good place for beibg in centre of Florence. Can be noisy from outside. Good breakfast. Staff pleasant & helpful. Deluxe rooms quirky. Bathroom- large & faultless. We had a induction hob to boil kettle & good size fridge. Easy walking to most attractions.

Good location!

Room very clean and large. Didn’t like the views up in lift as it looked dirty . Breakfast was ok , cooked not the best , not hot and very runny eggs. Lots of choice though. Position of hotel Was excellent, very close to all the sights.

Booked the Superior single room and found it spacious, with a queen bed and beautiful linens. Sadly I had multiple problems. The safe in my room often did not work and would keep my valuables and money hostage. They finally had to open my safe with a key but they never did come back to fix the problem. Storing my valuables and money in my suitcase was really not acceptable for the remaining 5 days. It was only when maintenance came up the day before I left that he said the safe code should be minimum 4-6 numbers, contrary to the sign pasted on the wall that said 3-6 numbers. I used 3. Kettle in room in a great bonus but you have to crawl under the desk to unplug the lamp and plug in the kettle. My luggage was delayed so I asked front desk to charge my power bank, they did but not a full charge. I asked if I could borrow the wall plug that was in their drawer for a day and they said NI. The bidet in my room didn't work as the lever was broken but housekeeping fixed it somewhat on the last day. Breakfast is just mediocre. I would suggest you go to the many restaurants around the hotel instead. For some reason housekeeping reduced my two medium and two bath towels for one medium and one bath towel. If you showered at night the towels would still be damp in the morning. I corrected them on that plus a few other minor little things like forgetting my water. I've stayed at other four-star hotels in Florence and although this is a beautiful hotel, they lack the finer details to ma

Property is old. Breakfast buffet is excellent with lots of choices and walking is doable to most sites. No food on property besides breakfast and they shut off wifi at night. Lots of mosquitoes
