The hotel is just off from the buzzing city street and night time can be noisy. You really need ear plugs to be able to have a good night sleep. The location is right near Uffizi Gallery and walkable to everywhere. One thing lucking about the hotel is that there is no kettle and there are no facilities to have hot drinks in the room, which was disappointed. The hotel room is very clean and spacious. The shower time can be a tricky; the hot water is supplied by a tank water system. If one person has shower evern a quick one, next person gets a warm cold shower.... so its best to think who gets shower first or timing between if you are staying more than 2 people. Breakfast is very basic and average, not funcy. I personally don't think this hotel classes as 4 stars, it's rather 3 stars. Be prepare to pay for a city tax on your arrival in cash. We didn't know (there was a note in the details but it was easily missed as it was wrtten in the hiding and expanding sections) and luckily we had cash with us, it was a very surprise cahrge and it wasn't cheap.

The staff was friendly but not helpful at all. I had 3 nights paid, my mistake I did not check my itenerary and left a day earlier. The front desk new all that. I did the check out and did not mention anything about it and let me go. Kept my bags for a full day. If they mentioned something I would've realized my mistake but instead kept my money.

Staff was amazing, spoke English, should us what were good things to visit in Florence, arranged taxis for us. This hotel is conveniently located near restaurants & tourist. Destinations. The only thing that could use some improvement is that the Wi-Fi was at times was weak and we would have to reconnect frequently.

I had an amazing experience at Aurum Uffizi. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive. The check-in process was smooth, and I was impressed by the cleanliness and comfort of my room. The location of the hotel was also ideal, providing easy access to the Uffizi Gallery, the ponte Vecchio, Piazza dela Signoria and other attractions. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable, always ready to assist with any requests. Overall, I highly recommend the Aurum Uffizi to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. I will definitely be returning on my next visit!

I like that the hotel was quiet, clean and I could come and go as I please. In was located in a good area, where most of the things I was doing were a max of 25-30 mins walk away. I would have preferred more breakfast options and a table and chair in the room but I understand this could have been just because of the room I chose.

The location was great. As was the check in. The room had an unpleasant, sour septic smell. Quite similar to septic “burps” we experienced in Rome. The room was modern with a generous sized bathroom. The pillows were quite flat, there was not enough hot water for two showers, and the breakfast was mediocre.

I stayed by myself for 13 nights. The toilet was broken and did not get fixed until the day I left. The bathroom also flooded all the time and the floor was slippery. Mosquitoes were in the room and were buzzing around at night. The room was very small and I had to squeeze into the room due to a closet near the room’s entrance. When it was time for me to leave, they could not make change for my cash payment. Also, the handle fell off the door entering the room and I was trapped in the room. I used a towel to get out, took the handle to the front desk, and a young man came and fixed the door.
