This hostel location was convenient and the staff super friendly. However, the room was in an incredible state of disrepair, and clearly whoever cleans the rooms doesn’t report what is broken. The toilet flush needed to be continuously pressed because it was broken. One of the shower doors was falling, which made it impossible to shower without flooding the bathroom. The TV was faulty and wouldn’t turn off, so I had to mute the volume in order to sleep at night. The doors to the balcony were so loose that there was a cold draft, and we could hear the street noise. Also, there is only one lift serving this very large building, so you might have to wait a long time if you are carrying heavy luggage and cannot use the stairs. Overall I believe this hostel is low value for money until they care about maintenance.

The room was clean sand the bed was comfortable. What was not great: - check in took over 30 minutes of waiting. - It's very noisy at night, you can hear very loud trucks and road works/beeping from the early hours of the morning 5am onwards -I left the 'do not disturb' sign on my door and when I returned the sign was gone and someone had been in my room. While I appreciate they tidied it, I'd left the sign out so the room would be left alone. I would not stay again or recommend

Overall I had a good stay here, the location is perfect for walking all over Florence, and a short walk from train station. Theres lots of amenities and all types of people stayed here, families, Professional singles etc.however on my first night I stayed in a mixed dorm and was woken up by a man pulling my legs and screaming at me. So that was scary. They moved me to my own room after that.
