The quiet, green, and serene courtyard is the absolute best place to be after the busy day. I had moved hotels after spending the weekend away from Florence, and ended up returning to the Villa Royal after one night at the other hotel. An absolute paradise with a beautiful pool area and onsite parking, which I think is pretty rare.

We had a great a stay at Villa Royal. My husband and I stayed in one of the detached rooms located near the pool. It was clean and cozy. As soon as we checked in, the staff at the reception were very helpful and gave us great information for our stay. The breakfast buffet was one of the best I’ve had with a great variety of food. One minor thing to note is that the shower was a bit small. The specific shower that we used should probably be resealed as the sealant appeared quite old and some water would leak out of the shower and on to the floor.
