Do NOT flush anything in toilet besides toilet paper. Deck is open for use. Dont go in to the fenced in back yard/pool area or hang in the driveway
When leaving wash dishes. Strip sheets. Trash goes in driveway bin. Do not purchase anything on TV. Do not go through any garage stuff it’s storage.
To use gas stove turn it on high until you hear a clicking noise. Once a flame ignites you can turn to the desired level. Turn gas off when done.

Great neighborhood. Host was responsive when I asked a question. Very convenient location to airport, beaches. Information future renters would like to know: To get in to this apartment, you have to go through a musty smelling garage. The apartment was made in the back half of the garage. It was done well. Everything new. They had a plug in fragrance in the apartment which was overwhelming and wonder why. It did seem like there was some type of air freshener machine. One of the reasons I prefer Vrbo is an outdoor space. This outdoor space was not usable. Chairs were broken and in disarray. All the cushions that were usable were filthy. The king bed did not have a top sheet so I question if the bottom sheet was stripped and cleaned. I found the top sheet folded up with other linens. Also space feels tight because it doesn’t have much outdoor light. One window in bathroom and one window in bedroom which is frosted. All these things were probably in the description but just wanted to clarify.

There were MANY positives: great pressure & hot water shower, toilet flushes great, very comfy king bed (not the pillows tho/bring your own), NICE appliances esp. the washer/dryer, spacious frig w/icemaker, gas stove/airfryer, multiple tech outlets, nice cookware, gas grill, good wifi, safe neighborhood, many close walking streets, close in proximity to everything!The studio was constructed off the back of host's garage, one wall is shared. There are 2 windows total. One faces property greenery, the other has a film over it: lets in light/tho you can't 'see' out. We re-located several decorative items to make room for our things as we stayed for 6 weeks and needed all available surface areas. Upon arrival we found the studio floors were NOT clean, lots of long hair, dust bunnys, stuck on dirt spots. After thoroughly washing the floors, we could unpack. Provided linens (bed, kitchen and bath) did not 'smell' fresh, though appeared clean - I used them after laundering. The kitchen cupboards and countertops surrounding the stove had a greasy film, most surface "tops" dusty. I washed dinnerware before use. The deck was dirty, not well maintained. I scrubbed surfaces and swept the deck-floor. Much of the deck furniture was broken, unusable or delapidated, the cushions stained, and wet. Little shade is available when days are sunny. The umbrella helps/but heavy&hard to move around. We enjoyed our stay once it was "clean" but I felt I shouldn't have had to do that upfront.

I thoroughly enjoyed my recent stay in this modern studio. Located in a quiet neighborhood and with it's own private entrance, it has everything you need for a delightful stay in Fort Myers. It is close in proximity to many local places of interest and the host was extremely approachable, quickly answering all of my questions!
