FORT WORTH STOCKYARDS 1907 REID HOUSE - KÄYTÄ VARASTOJOILLE!

Suunnittele oleskelu pikku cowboy-mökilläsi nauttiaksesi Fort Worth -varaston rikkaasta historiasta! Talomme on rakennettu viktoriaanisessa mökki tyyliin vuonna 1907 - samana vuonna rakennettiin historiallinen Cowtown Coliseum. Tämä historiallinen naapurusto aloitti kehityksen vuonna 1902 panssarointi- ja Swift-lihapakkauslaitosten saapuessa. Reid-talo sijaitsee 2. 5 korttelin päässä Billy's Bobs Texasin etuovesta, ja helppo kävelymatka kaikkiin kauppoihin, ravintoloihin, karjatapahtumiin ja yöelämään Exchange Avenuen varrella. Perheellämme on erityinen kiintymys Fort Worth -varastossa. Reid-perhe on ollut rodeo-kotieläintalousyritys Fort Worthissa 1930-luvulta lähtien. Roland Reid perusti Double R Rodeo Company -yrityksen, ottaen käyttöön muutama rodeo vuonna 1938. Vuoteen 1941 mennessä hän oli vakiintunut rodeotuottaja ja siitä tuli rodeotekniikan katkottua osa. Hän tuotti rodeoja koko Pohjois-Texasin alueella ja lähetti varastot rodeoille ympäri maata. Voit silti törmätä rodeo-cowboyihin kaikkialla Teksasissa, jotka ovat olleet Roland Reidillä ostamassa härää tai hevosta jossain vaiheessa vuosien varrella.

Nykyään Double R Rodeo Company on vanhin jatkuvasti toimiva rodeo-yritys Texasin osavaltiossa ja lounaassa. Vuodesta 1993 lähtien olemme varastossa tuottaneet rodeon täällä historiallisessa Cowtown Coliseumissa. Nämä viikoittaiset rodeot järjestetään joka perjantai ja lauantai klo 20.00. Double R järjestää myös Billy Bobin Texas Bull Riding Show -sarjan joka perjantai ja lauantai kahdella näyttelyllä klo 9.00 ja 22.00.

We stayed at FORT WORTH STOCKYARDS 1907 REID HOUSE – DFW/TEXAS to celebrate my mum’s 80th birthday, and it couldn’t have been more perfect! The property was absolutely lovely, spotlessly clean on arrival and beautifully presented. The beds were so comfortable, and there was plenty of storage throughout, which made settling in so easy.It had a real home-from-home feel and provided the perfect setting for our special family celebration. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay it was peaceful, welcoming, and full of charm. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area! If and when I return to DFW I’ll definitely be booking back in!

The house was as described, we had a great trip with easy access to all the things we had planned to do! The neighborhood wasn't the best but the location was great if you plan on spending your time at the stockyards and you don't want to drive. There was a camera in the kitchen, it was disclosed in the materials in the house and we were able to turn it around but it was a little creepy at first.

The location was great! We were able to walk to the stockyards perfectly! My only complaint is the house wasn’t clean to my liking. One light bulb was out in the master bathroom. Everything else was great!

Great location

The house is in a great location if you are wanting to enjoy the stockyards and billy bobs. The neighborhood unfortunately is not that great but we did walk to all the nightlife aread and never had a bad experience even walking late at night.

Girls Trip

Girls trip to Fort Worth. Primary reason for us for picking this listing was the location. We wanted to walk and save on Ubers. We felt comfortable walking to the stockyards when it was light out but not on the way home, so that was a cost we were planning on not having. House was a good size and everything was clean. Two small things - Floors in kitchen were uneven so walking around the kitchen felt weird and there were no dressers in rooms so had to keep things in our luggage if they couldn’t be hung up. Fire alarm batteries died in the middle of the night, it took a bit to get someone over to change them, but outside of the annoying beep every 20 seconds, it was resolved during the stay.

Location!

Location to stockyards is perfect. Walk there during the day, easy Uber ride at night. Fun getaway with friends, and our first time in Fort Worth area. Host was responsive and helpful.

Family Weekend Family Stay

This is a quaint historic home in an old neighborhood right next to the stockyards. The property provides more space than traditional hotels. The owners are attentive and responsive, provided very helpful recommendations for local dining and entertainment. The neighborhood Mexican restaurant, Dos Molinas, was tasty and close. The neighborhood was fine but did give us pause, particularly at night. We chose to drive to the stockyards. It's a short drive to TCU. Grateful for the space for extended family rather than traditional hotel rooms. We enjoyed the walking tour of the Stockyards, Second Chance Rodeo for drinks, toured the Bureau of Engraving and Printing (where currency is printed), Heim BBQ, Wild Salsa (dinner downtown) and of course, a TCU football game.
