You absolutely cannot beat the location! The view from our room was directly in front of the Colosseum and you could watch the Cattle Drive from the room. It’s not the fanciest hotel, but the bed was comfy, the room was clean, the water in the shower was hot, and the room was roomy with two dogs and their kennels. It really was a great room for the weekend! We contemplated The Drover but we knew we’d be out of the hotel for the majority of the trip so we just couldn’t justify the ridiculous cost. If you want The Stockyards experience, without the crazy cost of a luxury hotel, meanwhile still staying in a nice hotel, let it be this one!

Great location right in the stockyards! Walk to everything. Rooms are clean but could use some updating, starting to look dated. Staff is excellent! Simple breakfast offered. We arrived 2 hrs before "check in time" and although our rooms were ready we were not allowed to check in without paying a fee. We opted to kill time and check in later. Also don't appreciate having to pay a daily fee to park our car. Especially when the front lot gets vehicles who are not staying in hotel ( no parking tag) filling up spaces as they shop.

Absolutely enjoyed our stay always. My only recommendation is fire pits out by the pool during the winter time. Would be a great place to sit around and just visit with friends and family.

Fabulous Hyatt Stockyards

Excellent from the beginning to the end. We did have to wait a little for the room that we requested ( overlooking the front vs the back) Your front desk was the most accommodating in getting us what we asked for. The breakfast was exceptional, offering a large selection! Thanks Hyatt, we’ll return!
