This stylish cottage in the centre of popular Fowey offers the chance for beach days, scenic hikes or simply exploring this smart coastal town’s excellent choice of shops and places to eat – all followed by a relaxing evening on your private terrace. A perfect destination for a couple or a small family.
Climb the four steps to the entrance of this beautifully renovated cottage, where historic character mingles with modern comforts and coastal style. You’ll step into the kitchen/diner, which boasts a central island with four high stools, an array of cupboards, a Nespresso coffee machine and stone flooring. On the first floor, making the most of the estuary views, you’ll find the bright and airy lounge, where seating is gathered around a Smart TV. Also on this floor is one of the two bedrooms, with superb views, as well as the family bathroom, which boasts a modern, free-standing bath. Last but by no means least, the second bedroom is on the top floor – another delightful room with fabulous views. The terrace is the place to sit and enjoy a drink, dine or do absolutely nothing. Another benefit of this property is its parking space outside.
Once you have spent time in the variety of boutiques and eateries of Fowey, it’s an easy stroll to Readymoney Cove, 1 mile, a beautiful beach which is a great spot for a sea swim. From here, head out further along the coast path for some marvellous views. Keen walkers will want to catch the ferry to Bodinnick and the 4-mile Hall Walk, returning to Fowey via the passenger ferry from Polruan. And don’t miss a day out at the renowned Eden Project, just 6.5 miles.
