Perfect hotel for short or fast business stay over

A one night stop on a trip. Good location. Close to good restaurants. Modern with up to date check in and out. Perfect for short stops. This is a place to drop by, in a good way, not romantic or with a patina. Breakfast really good, bus and train outside the doors.

We stayed at this hotel for only one night and had a very mixed experience. The front desk staff was outstanding—especially Mark, who was incredibly helpful and welcoming. He truly made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Unfortunately, the housekeeping was among the worst I’ve encountered in Germany. The hand and body soap were almost empty—barely enough for one or two uses. I also found two shampoo bottles in the shower room but no body soap at all. The tissue box was half empty, and only one roll of toilet paper was provided. Under the sink, there was a cap left by a previous guest. On top of the cabinet, there was also a leftover product label—again, not cleaned up. Basic amenities and cleanliness should never be compromised. When I stayed at the IntercityHotel Berlin Central Station, the housekeepers always ensured everything was fully stocked without the need for guests to call and request items. I will stay here again next time because of its convenient location and excellent receptionists. However, I hope the hotel can improve its housekeeping service.

Be careful around this area as with any area close to HbF. But, extremely convenient to the HBF. Just ask for extra towels and pillow if needed. Taxi drivers outside the hotel only take cash.

Great reprieve in convenient spot

Super easy and great spot for train. Fantastically quiet, clean, easy....Only thing is it got warm at night. Adjusted the air but didn't quite matter. I think there may just have been nightime termperature setting in hotel.

Great location

Great location. Being so close to the train station makes it very convenient for business, or just for exploring Germany. The only issue with this hotel is communication. They do not read their messages, neither they answer the phone in the reception. This has always been an issue with this hotel.

Excellent - great location

Disappointed that Hotels.com had messed up our stay but the people at the front desk were great. Very helpful. The local area was a bit sketchy but the hotel was an oasis away from the madness.
