Whilst the room was adequate for our 1 night stay. Organising tours and advise the person on reception sign posted us to the information centre instead of making enquiries.

Very friendly personnel, makes you feel at home. Spacious and clean rooms. A good location to explore Franz Josef and Fox Glacier.

Zimmer waren sehr gross und sauber. Einziger Minuspunkt war die eher laute Heizung, welche nur mit der Kaminfunktion lief und dadurch sehr hell war. Dadurch haben wir die Heizung in der Nacht abgestellt und hatten am Morgen dann etwas kalt.

Sehr ordentliches ruhiges Motel

Pros: Der freundliche Service, die ausgestellten Fotos, das gute Preis-Leistungsverhältnis
Location: Am Ortsrand von Franz-Josef-Glacier nahe dem Franz Josef Gletscher und dem Fox-Gletscher. Sehenswert ist auch Lake Matheson (Jetty-Viewpoint), Okarito
Wir hatten 2 Doppelzimmer gebucht, der Service war sehr gut und freundlich, die Ausstattung ordentlich, die Zimmer großzügig und Sauber. Das Motel liegt ruhig etwas außerhalb des Ortes Ortsrand, nahe an den diversen Sehenswürdigkeiten der Umgebung und den Gletschern (Franz-Josef und Fox). Auf dem Grundstück des Motels gibt es eine sehr sehenswerte Galerie in der wunderbare Fotos des bekannten neuseeländischen Landschaftsfotografen Andris Apse ausgestellt sind, einige hängen auch im Motel.
