Visit the house where he was born in the small hamlet of Anchchiano, about two miles outside, and admire drawings, models and replicas of his machines and inventions at the Museo Leonardio di Vinci, which is located in the Castello di Conti Guidi. Also worth seeing is the small church of Di Santa Croce with its beautiful architecture.You can also stroll through the handicraft and pottery shops.In Vinci there are several restaurants, bars and trattorias where you can get simple but good and typical regional dishes.
