This 7-bedroom, 7.5-bath mansion invites your group to live in comfort and style – whether you’re in town for a family reunion, UF graduation, or a corporate off-site. Outdoor Paradise: Start your morning on one of our two wraparound porches, sipping coffee on a cozy swing as the neighborhood wakes up. In the evening, step out back to the expansive patio draped in twinkling party lights – an enchanting setting for dinners or celebrations. With seating for everyone under the stars, you can grill out, share stories, and make memories late into the night (quiet hours begin at 10pm).

Spacious & Luxurious Interiors: Inside, 5,800 sq. ft. of living space means your group can spread out. There are three distinct living rooms – perfect for game nights, quiet reading, or catching up by the fireplace. A gourmet kitchen with high-end appliances awaits your chefs (or caterers!), and a grand dining room sets the stage for special meals together.

All Ensuite Bedrooms: Each of our 7 bedrooms is a private suite featuring a king bed (6 kings and 1 queen), its own full bathroom, premium linens, and even a fireplace in five of the suites. No one has to compromise – every couple or individual gets a comfortable, private space to unwind.

Historic Charm, Modern Comfort: Built in the 1800s and formerly a beloved B&B, Grand Laurel Oak Estate is a registered historic home updated with all the conveniences of today.

Prime Location: Leave the cars in our free parking area and explore downtown Gainesville on foot – restaurants, cafes, and shops are just a few blocks away. The University of Florida and stadium are a 5-minute drive, making game days or campus visits a breeze.

Despite being in the heart of town, the estate sits on a lush, fenced property, offering peace and privacy behind its oak-shaded gardens. Important: Before you arrive, you will be asked to complete guest verification through third-party provider Truvi. This is done to ensure we are keeping up-to-date with short-term rental regulations as well as providing both our guests and our properties with extra protection. Truvi will contact you via email and/or text to complete the verification. Please do so prior to arriving at the property to enable a quick and easy check-in process.
Please note that the AirBNB extenuating circumstances cancellation policy does not cover hurricanes in Florida or COVID, but the insurance covers both 100%. We ask that you please purchase AirBNB cancellation insurance at check-out in order to cover any unforeseen changes that would cause a cancellation or early departure that is outside of the cancellation window (i.e. weather related, health related, flight issues, etc...). AirBNB offers insurance at check-out and if a circumstance arises that would cause a cancellation or early departure (outside of the cancellation range, or an early departure that arises during your stay), then the insurance policy will refund you 100% as long as it`s within the terms. Thanks! And we hope that nothing would come up that would interfere with the trip, but we want to make sure you`re covered just in case.
If no insurance policy is purchased, that`s OK, too- we are happy to open up the dates on the calendar and try to re-rent. If we can re-rent, then we can refund the amount recuperated, but we cannot issue a full refund unless we can re-rent from an early departure or cancellation.
