Welcome to League Lofts 201– a stylish and spacious two bedroom loft just steps from all the hot spots in downtown Galveston. The primary bedroom features a king size bed and the second bedroom has a queen size bed. Combined with the full sleeper sofa in the living room, this unit comfortably sleeps up to 5 people. Whether you’re looking to spend time on The Strand, the beach, or a quick overnight before a cruise departure, this loft is the perfect home base for your trip. THERE IS NO ELEVATOR IN THIS BUILDING. IT IS ALL ONLY STAIRS!

Location: Historic Downtown area of Galveston, Texas, half mile from cruise ship terminal.

Beach access: Less than a 4 minute drive from the beaches at the Seawall.

Rent BeachBox: Looking for beach gear for your Galveston getaway? We have you covered! Beach chairs and tents can be ready at the house upon your arrival. Message us for details and rates.

WIFI: Free high-speed WIFI is available throughout the home.

Cable: We provide Roku with access to Sling TV for live television channels. Guests are welcome to log into their own Amazon Prime, Netflix, or other streaming service apps as well.

Pet policy: One pet is welcome with a $25 fee per pet. We ask that pets stay off all furniture, are cleaned up after in the yard, and aren't left alone inside the home unless in a crate or kennel. Please message us if you’re planning on bringing your furry friend!

Parking: Paid street parking options on the streets surrounding the building.

Party Policy: No parties are allowed at our home. Please look elsewhere if that is the intent of your trip.

Age Requirement: Guests must be 24+ to book.

- Guests must be 24+ to book the property.
- One-night stays must be approved.
- Quiet hours are from 10pm-8am.
- Any damages to the house or property during your stay will result in a deduction or additional charge for the resulting repair/replacement cost.
- All pets must be approved by our team, stay off of all furniture, be cleaned up after in the yard, and not left alone inside the home unless in a kennel.
- Oversized vehicles/trailers are not permitted unless explicit approval has been received from our team.
- Do not turn the AC below 70 degrees. If you do, you will risk the AC unit freezing up, requiring it to thaw out which will result in the home getting extremely warm.
- Paid street parking only.
- Should an eviction occur due to breaking house rules (noise ordinance violations, excessive guests and/or vehicles beyond the agreed amount), there will be an $850 fine.

Cruise Stay

Area and buildings are beautiful but never thought about being an old building the noise factor! You can not walk across the floor without making noise so unfortunately you hear every movement if someone is above you as well as in the hallway and stairs even with sound machines. We had someone above us that was up until 3 am so no sleep!

Stayin to Cruise

The stay was a comfortable one. Clean is a MUST & it was. We loved the fact that our family was down the hall so it was convenient. Also, we love history & it’s evident the building has it. Although some might not appreciate the old wooden floors, we thought it was great! The ONLY issue was the red light from the hallway shines through the glass panes even when you shut the front bedroom door. Would return in a heartbeat! Side note… great pizza place around the corner. Inexpensive & yummy!

The place is beautiful and charming. I wish the mattresses were more comfortable and there were blankets for the beds. Having hangers in the closet would be nice. Great decor and walking to restaurants was convenient. Did not enjoy taking the trash around the block to an alley behind the building.

Perfect Location on the Strand

We booked this VRBO for a birthday trip and it exceeded expectations! Perfect location within walking distance of many different restaurants, the beach, and lots of entertainment. We were also able to bring our furry friend, which made our trip that much better! I would definitely recommend!

The lofts

Stayed for a couple nights before our cruise. Ended up being in Galveston during Mardi Gras which was a lot of fun for our kids. The lofts is an older building so you do hear everyone coming and going. Night time was a little rough due to the people above who didn’t sleep at all. The loft itself is very clean and nicely decorated. The place is in walking distance to the strand and cruise ports which made it nice to get around.

Great quick getaway!

This loft was perfect for my friend and I’s quick getaway trip to Galveston!! It was minutes away from the strand which was super convenient since that’s all we planned to do! It’s a beautiful old renovated building, we loved the old wood staircase. We looked up when the building was built and I believe it said 1915! Super cool historical building! The kitchen was perfect and had all the utensils we needed. The bed was actually comfortable!! There was extra pillows in the closet which was nice. I am grateful we chose this place and we will be back!! Oh and the parking was bad at all! I don’t know if it’s because we came during off seasons but we did. It have a problem.

Perfect Downtown Location

We enjoyed our stay at League Lofts. I loved being just a few blocks off of the Strand; we walked to the Opera House, Rosenberg Library and to supper each evening. The price was really good for the location and amenities. The only thing that gave me pause was the lack of dedicated parking. But I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to pay and park nearby. Because the lodging was so reasonable, paying for parking was not a big deal. We would definitely stay here again and are recommending it to friends and family.

Loved staying in this loft. It’s hard to find places for 3 adults to stay that have two beds and not one bed and a pull out! Loved that it had two rooms, the kitchen was really cute, bathroom was large. All great things

Comfortable, clean and convenient

We only stayed one night. Left on a cruise the next morning. Very comfortable beds. Everything was clean, just as you would expect it. Beautiful, old building.But if you’re looking for a place where you can get a good night’s sleep, this may not it. The unit we were in was right at the top of the only stairs in the building on the second floor. There is absolutely no soundproofing. We could hear every step that anyone took up and down the stairs all night long.If it had been quieter, I could see us coming back for an extended stay.
