Our Coastal Family Home – 2 Blocks to the Beach

Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room for fun. Welcome to our personal home — a bright, relaxed 4-bedroom retreat just two blocks from the beach. This isn’t an investment property or a vacation rental business — it’s the only home we own, and we’ve chosen to share it with fellow travelers so that we can have more flexibility to explore the world ourselves.

We simply ask that you treat it with the same kindness and care you would your own home.

The Space:

- 2 Full Bathrooms (2 Tubs)
- All one level (no interior stairs)
- Long private driveway for easy parking
- Outdoor courtyard with string lights perfect for morning coffee or evening wind-down
- Dedicated playroom for kids

The layout is functional, airy, and family-friendly — ideal for beach weekends, multi-family trips, or slow coastal stays.

Wellness:
- We have a whole house water filter as well as a reverse osmosis filter, so all water is clean and safe!
- Nearly all rooms have air filters running
- We do not use any synthetic fragrances, harsh chemicals, or toxic substances in our house: from candles, to cleaning supplies and room sprays.

As a traveling family ourselves, we’ve created a space that makes vacationing with kids easier:
- Kids’ room complete with a projector for cozy movie nights
- Yoto player for screen-free storytelling
- Separate playroom so adults can actually relax
- Optional stroller, car seat, and wagon rentals available upon request
We know how much these little details matter when traveling.

This is our personal home:
- Please respect the house guide. This isn't a hotel, it's our home.
- We are a simple middle class family that likes to travel, be cognizant with AC usage, open doors, messes, and exercise care with our personal belongings.
During your stay at this cottage, you'll be within walking distance of Galveston Schlitterbahn Waterpark. Laundry facilities are available. The cottage offers a kitchen and 2 bathrooms.
