Highly recommend

The hotel is beautiful and modern. The room is very spacious and comfortable. Plenty of large windows for natural light. The breakfast was perfect as well. Great location!

The room we had was spacious, clean and well stocked. The space seemed dated but everything worked well. We were not able to turn the temperature down below 19c which was on the warm side for us. Staff were lovely and the in hotel restaurant was decent, some lower priced options would have been nice.

Loved the gym and pool and restaurant. Excellent dining. One small item not so good was the bathroom lights, no light for the mirror so was hard to see when shaving or putting makeup on.

I am very impressed with this hotel ! My room was spacious and spotlessly clean. The staff throughout this hotel are exceptionally helpful and pleasant which gives practical expression to the concept of "Irish Hospitality." Nathan and Lorraine are outstanding breakfast hosts! Lorraine is very attentive to the requirements of every guest during the breakfast service. She is proactive and should be commended for the value she brings to the business of the hotel. Shanna and Mia provide prompt and obliging service in the Bistro which makes the dining experience most enjoyable. Zeo provides exemplary room service. The receptionist who greeted me on arrival provided an unbeatable welcome! It would be nice if the check in time could be amended to 3pm instead of 4pm which is customary in most hotels. I have never stayed at a Clayton Hotel before but based on this experience, I shall be considering staying in their UK hotels.

Stains everywhere, Disappointing.

Stains everywhere: On the bedding, chairs in room, all over the carpet and walls. Curtains falling off. Mattresses literally hard as rocks. Fan in bathroom broken, steamed up whole room after a shower. Never stayed in a hotel with stains everywhere. The room we were given wasn’t what was pictured on website, not the hotels fault though. Thought the bedroom/sitting area were separate and for the money they should have been. Would have booked elsewhere much nicer for the price. Won’t be back.
