The room wasn’t ready we arrived. When we were able to get into our room there was an overpowering smell best described and someone dumping an entire bottle of cologne on the carpet. When we mentioned it we were told to try turning on the ac to circulate the air. This did not work. Hours later the smell was strong as ever an made it very difficult to sleep. The shower dripped at night as well. The nexf day upon check out we again mentioned the overpowering smell and were told it was antiseptic spray or possibly air fresher used by the cleaning staff. Simply said they would mention it. Would not stay again or recommend

Location is 25 mins walking from galway city , staff are nice but the cleaning service in the morning very noisy. The rooms need updating and very poor lightning. The rooms very noisy at night and I was not pleased with my stay.
