Check-in was definitely not what we were hoping for, which was obviously disappointing. We arrived super early, but we knew the hotel didn’t have staff until 9 AM once it was 9 AM. We went to the hotel and attempted to check in early. Obviously our room was not ready and we understood that, so we went back out on the town, left our bags and asked them to give us a call whenever the room was ready, hoping that they would get us in before 3 o’clock (especially after they heard that we arrived at 4 AM) we went back out to explore the town and again checked back in around noonish. Still, the room was not ready but they assured us they would call us as soon as possible. At around 3:30 we went back to the hotel and thankfully our room was ready, FINALLY! What was frustrating was no one had called us, like they had said they would and it was after the check-in time. In addition, they never asked or shared information about the parking that they had available at the hotel, until we inquired about it, after I read the pamphlet in the room. The room was fine obviously tiny but because it was so tiny it definitely made it seem as though they could’ve had it ready prior to 3 o’clock, especially knowing that we had arrived so early and check out is at 11.
There was stuff in the cups when we walked in.

Great location, helpful staff. WiFi wasn’t available in our room but wasn’t really a problem. Bedroom and bathroom very clean. There was no wardrobe as rooms were fairly small but would still be a great choice for a weekend stay

Everything was clean & new but nowhere to even hang or store a towel. Very small. Don’t expect any amenities with this room. Front desk staff & cleaning staff were great but leave the property at 9:00pm. Not a terrible stay but very simple hotel.

Check in was good.The young lady was very helpful with directions around Galway. Didn’t realize it is not a full service hotel. Didn’t appreciate the “flag” hanging in the lobby ( not a republic of Ireland flag) and the fire alarm went off because the store below was lighting incense??? We had to go to the front desk to ask what was happening??

Beautiful Boutique Hotel with Fantastic Location

Excellent location, service, and quality for a reasonable price. The room was described as “snug” at the time of booking. It was small, as to be expected in a city, but the design made excellent use of cubbies, shelves, and drawers to maximize storage and necessities. Very happy with our stay. Charlie and Oscar (very friendly dogs) made for an extra special welcome.

It was very walkable in Galway. Room was a little dated and dingy. Staff was friendly enough. The plumbing is LOUD and the walls are thin so you hear every noise from the other rooms. Room was very very small, good enough for one POSSIBLY two.
