Trip to Garmisch in winter

Pros: Staff, views, breakfast, room size
Cons: Room temperature control
Location: Eibsee, Zugsbitz, Garmisch town
Great stay during a trip to Garmisch though you do need a car to get there as it's 5-10 mins away from the town and train station. The lake was an added bonus, even though it was frozen the views around it spectacular. Only minor gripe was that the room was like an oven, couldn't turn off the heating oddly. But there was a tilting door to the balcony which we left open at night which helped. It was a huge room, complimentary mini bar and had 2 TVs though you had to pay to get an English service like movies.

Schönes Hotel am See.

Pros: Die Lage am See mit Blick in die Berge
Location: Das Hotel befindet sich in Garmisch Partenkirchen. Schönes Städtchen, gut flanieren, gut essen und toll shoppen. Wandern, die Zugspitze besuchen.
Wir haben Zwischenstation von Italien nach Hause hier gemacht. Schöne Anlage. Zimmer gut, Betten bequem. Wir haben gut geschlafen. Bad etwas klein. Dafür sehr reichhaltiges und gutes Frühstück, Service von den Damen dort perfekt.. Im Restaurant am See sitzt man Abends sehr schön. Der Service dort von den Damen auch sehr gut. Die Herren leider leicht zerstreut. Aber wir hatten ja Urlaub und da kann man auch mal etwas länger warten. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Leider war der Whirlpool außer Betrieb und die "heiße" Sauna erst ab Nachmittags beheizt, schade. Bei einem Spa hätte ich da mehr erwartet.

Hübsches Hotel am See mit Blick auf die Berge.

Das Hotel liegt etwas oberhalb von Garmisch. Die Zimmer sind gemütlich eingerichtet. Das Schwimmbad ist schon etwas älter und könnte renoviert werden. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut. Für jeden Gesxhmack ist etwas dabei. Der Service dort ist hervorragend. Das Personal beim Frühstück und an der Rezeption ist ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Restaurant Seehaus besticht durch die tolle Aussicht. Das Mobilisr innen ist allerdings etwas angestaubt.
