Tämä on 3600 neliöjalkaa hirsimökki, joka sijaitsee Golf Creek -alueella Cobbly Nobissä Gatlinburgissa, Tn. Meillä on upea näkymä Great Smoky Mountainsin kansallispuistoon. Kiinteistön reunalla on puro, joka kulkee golfkentän läpi ja tarjoaa erittäin rentouttavan äänen. Näkymistä nauttimiseen on 3 kannet.

Yläkerrassa on keittiö, avoin oleskelutila ja kaksi makuuhuonetta (king- ja queen-vuoteet). Kaikki makuuhuoneet on erotettu yksityisyyden suojaksi, ja jokaisella on oma kylpyhuone. Olohuoneessa on 42'-taulutelevisio, jossa on HD ja sähkötakka. Ne ovat kaksi ruokapöytää, tarpeeksi mahtuu 10-12 helposti. Makuuhuoneessa on valtava vaatehuone ja suuri kylpyhuone, jossa poreallas ja suihku. Makuuhuoneessa on taulutelevisio 32 'HD -televisio. Kodinhoitohuoneessa on pesukone ja kuivausrumpu, silitysrauta ja -lauta. Kylpytynnyri on tällä tasolla etukannella.


Toisessa kerroksessa on deluxe-pelihuone, jossa on täysikokoinen biljardipöytä, foosball ja pingispöytä (pöytätennis). Pelihuoneessa on sähkötakka. Siellä on kaksi erillistä makuuhuonetta, joissa molemmissa oma kylpyhuone. King-makuuhuoneessa on vierekkäinen pieni makuuhuone täysikokoisella kerrossängyllä (täysi / täysi). Tämä on hienoa lapsiperheille. Uusi 32 'taulutelevisio king-makuuhuoneessa. Pelihuoneen ulkopuolella on parveke katselu nautintoa varten.

Matalampi taso on teatteri. Tässä 10 'x 40' huoneessa on 80 tuuman älytelevisio ja blue ray DVD -soitin. Olemme toimittaneet lepotuolit katselumukavuuteesi. The cabin was very nice, however the parking wasn’t as the picture of the cabin represented. There needs to be newer photos put on the website. The whole front of the cabin is totally different. The tv in the living room didn’t work, however the owner did replace it the evening before we left. We made due though with games. The hot tub was awesome, everyone enjoyed it.It’s a little bit scary getting up to the cabin but that comes with the territory! lol We did get a taste of mountain life, the morning we were getting ready to leave, we had a visit from a bear, he sniffed around then scampered off. Makes for a lasting memory!

This house is great - very peaceful! Way bigger than we expected so our group of 12 had plenty of space. Also, very clean. We had plenty to do at the house - pool table, ping pong table, air hockey, books and a hot tub. Although we couldn't see the golf course due to the leaves on the trees, we did have beautiful views of the Smoky Mountains. We saw a mama bear with 2 cubs! She also helped herself to food left in an unlocked vehicle so heed the warning! No damage done. There are more trees than pictured, and a covered porch has been added to the front. We loved the tall ceilings, huge windows and spacious bedrooms. Even the bunk room was cozy. Location was great especially since most of us were there to golf. If you enjoy wading in a river and/or hiking, I highly recommend the Greenbrier Picnic area in the national park. There are several pull-offs with great areas to get in the river. Our favorite was the second pull-off on the left after the road turns to dirt. The drive up to the house, Andrew's Way, is typical for cabins in Gatlinburg - curvy, narrow in places and a little steep but not too steep that you need 4-wheel drive. The driveway is also doable, but the minivan scraped every time even with us turning around and going in, so we ended up parking it in the lower driveway which was so much easier. Two vehicles easily fit at the top and two at the bottom.The hosts are great! Quick to respond. Super easy check-in. Highly recommend booking your stay here!

We loved the location. The cabin is spacious and easily accomodated our party of 9. There is plenty of indoor and ourdoor seating. The owner gave us check in information ahead of time, which was helpful. Other communication was not as good. I had requested, but not expected to be allowed to check in early since our drive was shorter. Unfortunately, the property was not cleaned in time for our 4 pm check in, and we had to wait 1.5 hrs before gaining access. Upon entering, we found a dirty sock left behind, and one of the bedspreads smelled terrible. This cabin is older and in need of repair. Part of the deck is weathered and unsafe. Rather than fixing it, an additional rail was erected to prevent access. There are old boards and shingles under the front porch. The kitchen had a mix of pots/pans/utensils, etc. in various stages of their life.We were able to find what we needed to prepare meals. We did have to purchase wine glasses, as there were none. The refrigerator was supposed to have a water filter, but it was missing. The worst thing abiut this cabin was the humidity problem on the lower level. We needed all of the bedrooms for our family, which meant people were sleeping in the lower level, which also houses the theater. It was very humid in there, even with dehumidifiers running constantly. The dehumidifiers could not keep up, and are not self draining. The couple sleeping there had to get up at least twice each night to empty them when they alarmed.

LARGE ENOUGH FOR EVERYONE

We stayed at Something Special last week. There were 4 adults and 6 kids, 16 to 2. The home was large enough for everyone and there was plenty for everyone to do. There is a 'friendly' neighborhood bear who likes pop tarts...Just make sure you lock your car door ALWAYS as he comes back nightly to check on them! It's an easy drive into Gatlinburg and has a pizza place, BBQ joint and cafe 5 minutes away.

We arrived and didn't lock the car when we first arrived. Before we could unload the car, the neighborhood BOO BOO the Bear decided to have a snack. Fortunately no damage to the car!

Something Special

The “cabin” was perfect for our needs/family. It was located East of downtown Gatlinburg but allowed us to be out of the hustle and bustle of town. The one thing I feel I was misled on is that the owner informed me that there was only a “starter kit” of paper products and trash bags, I had to supply them after they were used. There wasn’t a mention of this in the listing of amenities.

It was great. You can definitely sleep great at night. Very piecefull. Loved the book they had made up of rules. Read it first thing and took pictures of stuff I seen. But over all would rent it again.

This cabin was everything and more! My family and I enjoyed ourselves so much. There was enough space in which my family and I didn’t feel crowded. The house is beautiful with so many immensely. 10 out of 10. I look forward to booking again!

Big cozy place!

Lots of room for whatever you want! All the game stuff and movie theater for our 3 families (6 kids 7-19 yrs) 30 minute drive to get to towns but felt nice being secluded! Pool was nice/average. Hot tub was nice!

Perfect for our friends trip

The cabin was amazing and absolutely met all of what we needed during our stay! We had 11 people total that stayed there and it was a great time! I definitely will recommend this cabin to people and keep it in mind for next time we come down to visit!

Get-away with family

11 adults and 1 child. Plenty of room. Some of the bathroom sink drains were plugged. Bathrooms were clean. The Keurig didn't work. Grill needed cleaned. Few light bulbs needed replaced. Kitchen was well equipped. Bring your own soap and hair dryers. Yes there are bears! We saw one by our cars looking around. The place is about 30 minutes from the major attractions. It is secluded from all the noise. We had a fun week at the cabin.

Something Special was great!!!

Myself, husband, daughter, son in law and 3 grandchildren ages 6-12 really enjoyed our stay at Something Special while we explored Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. All the children had their own rooms and really enjoyed the game games. The theater room had issues with the speakers not working so movie time was ‘difficult’ … lol. The adults enjoyed the hot tub and spacious deck for morning coffee although the deck furniture and grill could have used a good cleaning. The kitchen was well stocked and provided everything we needed. Communication with the owners was awesome. We definitely would stay here again if we were vacationing in the area.

We really enjoyed our stay in this cabin! We had a large group of family/friends with ages ranging from 1 year old to 89! We loved the location and it felt a lot more private compared to some of the past rentals we have stayed in. The only downside to our stay was that the hot tub deck was being repaired so we were not able to use it, but the host did apologize and let us know ahead of time. Parking can be a little tight but we managed to make it work for all 4 of our vehicles. The beds and couches were all VERY comfortable! The cabin wasn't necessarily dirty but there were a few areas that seemed like they had been rushed through or just overlooked with cobwebs, dirty mirrors/windows, and dirt/dust in the window sills. The listing was definitely accurate. We had the best time and would stay here again!
