Beware of Construction
The cabin is beautiful and as a new build it was very clean. Location is great if you want to be closer to Gatlinburg and other amenities. There’s a coffee shop and cafe walkable from the cabin and the free trolly is right near there as well.
That said, if you’re looking for a cabin with views, more space, or nature - you won’t get that here. The cabin is in the front of a very tightly packed community and the beautiful front windows and porch overlook a construction parking lot, outdoor ornament shop, and main road.
I mean there was construction that woke me up at 8 in the morning on Saturday… if I know this was going on I probably wouldn’t have booked this location especially for the very expensive price. I could of stayed in Cincinnati if I wanted to be surrounded by construction.
I understand they need to make profit on these new locations but just be warned, look closer at the photos, and ask questions before booking if this is a concern for you. I believe this location will be great for families and those that want to be closer to Gatlinburg once construction in the area is completed. But for my stay, I was upset about the lack of transparency about the construction and accuracy of the listing.
Lastly, we did have issues with express check in and opening the door with the code but customer service was very quick to assist with these problems. They rocked but check-in could of been smoother.
