Fantastic! The view was amazing (this is super important to us when looking for a place to stay in the mountains) and the home was clean and easy to find. Unbelievable view nestled in the Smokey mountains

Beautiful home, too gorgeous to call a cabin. This home was perfect for our family of 3. The bedrooms were very spacious. A family of 5 could definitely be comfortable here. We sat outside on the deck every morning enjoying our coffee. A mama and her baby cubs greeted us in the backyard, the very first morning. Kate the owner, was very responsive and easy to get in contact with. Just be aware that this home is literally in the smokey mountains and you need a reliable car to drive up the steep incline going up. Otherwise we loved everything!

The View Was Beautiful

We enjoyed our stay at this chalet. Our only negative was the cleanliness. There were dirty dishes and silverware; we had to wash things before we could use them. The lights were dusty in the kitchen, and there was mold growing in the bathroom. But . . . the view out every window was absolutely stunning, no matter the time of day or the weather. Highly recommend it just for the view!

The listing and the pictures in the listing are just as described. Kate is super responsive, friendly, and helpful. Her home is clean and well maintained as well as bright and tastefully decorated. I would stay here again without hesitation. It is conveniently located to Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and Smokey Mountains National Park. Do yourself a favor and book this place before somebody else snatches it up!

Very Releaxing & Beautiful Property

We had a wonderful stay! I am going to mention my experience on some of the things that were mentioned in previous reviews. Didn't see any bears- The road from the Bypass is a little scary that is the way GPS brought us in- if you take the main road (Ski Mountain Rd) it is not nearly as scary. I thought that I would mention that for anyone traveling from flatter lands. We live in the mountains so it wasn't a big deal. Once you get to the property the views are incredible! The massage chairs absolutely were a big hit! Of course Kate is amazing. Definitely recommend and will stay again!

We had a beautiful time at Vista and beautiful home. We saw multiple bears that came and strolled by and cause no issues. They tried to open car doors but no damages. Kate is a wonderful host and very helpful and quick to respond. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home. We did leave on memory and a good bear experience in the memory book. This was a perfect house for my family of 4. The sunrise views were amazing. The massage chairs were definitely used by all and I enjoyed the hot tub a few times. Even had the pleasure of seeing some bears.

Beautiful house with fantastic views. We did see bears on the property. They were non-aggressive, fun to see, and very photogenic. No damage was done, but the bears did get into our truck. Lock your doors and keep windows up, as was suggested by the property owner. We had a great time at this VRBO property.

Relaxing and quiet

Really enjoyed the quietness of the location even though we were less than 10 min from Gatlinburg. We used the massage chairs every day from walking so much. Kate was awesome and checked up on us throughout our stay. We would definitely stay here again.
