Could be improved

First the positives, The hotel itself is in an excellent location. Close to everything downtown Gatlinburg but tucked back by the river so it’s still quiet. The room was very clean and had a nice balcony (with the exception of swarms of carpenter bees). We were celebrating 25th our anniversary and looking forward to relaxing by the pool as the temps were around 85-87 but upon arrival the pool had zero water in it and we could not see this till we got to our room. It would have been nice to notify guests that the pool was closed. Only 1 elevator and after waiting awhile we decided to use the steps as they were closer to our room. The concrete steps leading up to the 2nd & 3rd floors were dangerously deteriorating. There was no signage saying not to use the stairs or no mention at check in. It wasn’t until we went up that we saw a couple construction cones but we were already halfway up and almost every step was crumbling. Beds were super soft but for us that’s is not a good thing. We both woke up with terrible back aches. Need to tweak something’s (better mattresses) and be more transparent about the pool and dangerous stairs and this would be a perfect hotel!

The location was great. Close to a lot of things we wanted to do but still pretty quiet. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pictures online are a little misleading. Although our room was very clean - the property is very dated. We did not have very good water pressure and the water was lukewarm the entire time.

Room was nice, spacious, clean. Good location. Walkable to main Parkway. Close to GSMNP entrance. The pick up and go breakfast had a good variety to choose from. I really liked this idea of the grab and go. Coffee was good too!

Good clean hotel. Very cozy. Beds are soft and water pressure is good. Other reviews talked about outside being dated but I liked it. Would definitely stay here again. Close to downtown and can walk everywhere was a plus.

Room was smaller than expected being that i paid for a honeymoon suite bed frame was cheap and creaked at the slightest movement . If your just looking for a place to layyour head it will work but alittle steep for what you get

Comfortable stay in convenient location

We enjoyed our stay; the unit was clean and comfortable. It was a short walk to downtown and a short drive to the national park. Some minor cosmetic improvements could be made.

They have a different method for obtaining extra needed items (towels, garbage liners, etc.) and I liked it! The staff was super friendly and helpful and the room was better than I expected for money spent. Definitely worth every penny!
