The air conditioning was disabled due to the time of year leaving the room was unbearably hot! I was told to open the window -unfortunately the window only opened 2 inches and obviously with the hotels location it was very loud outside.

Friendly & nice

Good option close to the main train station. A lot of restaurants around and short walking distance to the lake. Good value for the price!

Very good, clean accommodation, conveniently situated

I only stayed the one night but the location and amenities were more than adequate and reasonable value for money given the proximity to the city centre, the rail station and the cost of other hotels in the area. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the rooms were very clean and well equipped. I will certainly consider staying there again.

Lovely weekend break

The hotel was lovely and welcoming and the reception staff so helpful and friendly. Managed to check on early and the room was great, even had conditioner which hotels uually don't give you! The little things. Location was round corner from train station and a 10 min walk to the lake front.

A great stay spoiled by inflexibility

I loved the hotel. However, I needed an invoice for my insurance company and on check-out the clerk refused to print me one, saying that since I had made a reservation on the Internet, it was not possible. No amount of persuading seemed to be able to make him change his mind. Another clerk came to his rescue and suggested I print it out myself with their public computer and printer. I am now stuck with a simple printout that my insurer may not accept as a formal invoice.
