Great hotel as a base to explore Georgetown. Although dated, it’s still comfortable and clean. Free parking is a real plus.

Check in was quick. Staff very helpful. Dated facilities but okay. Maintenance rather poor. Mould on ceilings in bathroom definitely a no no. Housekeeping needs a lot more training. Cleaning of bathroom and replacement of soap etc. definitely not up to standard. Coffee sachets expired 5 months ago.

The building is old. The small bath towels were all well washed, well used, well worn. Thin, dull colour and kind of musty. The bed was extremely hard and gave me neck aches. I asked front desk if I could talk to the manager. She said she will give me a mattress topper. Of course it did not help. With the invisible manager and only 1 more night to go. Let it be. I will warn my friends not to go there. Anyway, the food was good.

We stayed here for only 3 nights. Originally 4 nites but due to Independence weekends celebration there were no buses or train available from KL to Penang. So, we missed our first night stay. Staff Service is so.. so not so impressive - I’ve requested for two fresh Towel and they delivered two towels but the 2nd one looks really outdated for Floor usage not for the body. I Will not recommend this hotel.

We arrived at 3.45pm, 45 mins after the check-in time. But was informed only 2 rooms of the 5 rooms we have booked was ready. The other 3 rooms were only ready at around 4.15 pm. Already thought the official checked in time was rather late as the standard checked in time for most hotel is 2.00 pm.

A very good hotel for what it is and cost.

Great lication, large rooms, fantastic Roof Bar and Revolving Restaurant. Could use a Hard Renovation in parts, or a Soft Renovation all over. However still well worth the stay and cost value. Need to work out more reasonable Happy Hours!

Good location. Pool ok. Mold all over the bathroom walls, ceiling no extractor fans so ok hotel ruined by awful bathroom. No options to change room.

The staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel room had a great view of the bay. The bed was quite hard but the shower warmed up quickly and was easy to use. The walls were quite thin, we could hear the people's conversation next door to us. But the hotel room was nice and spacious which was good.
