Room was adequate. Paid 124 on this website, they handed me a receipt for 79, this place skimmed off $45, book on their website or call to reserve. Beds were good for 3/4 of us. Furnace needed new setting at 4am, shower pressure was a mist, hot tubs a bit chilly and cloudy but still nice. It was worth the price they showed me, if not the price I paid. Waffle maker for breakfast but not much protein options.

Our stay was okay - the front desk was very friendly and helpful, but the room itself had some issues. The bathroom floor had clearly not been cleaned in some time - there was tinsel and dust on the floor which was icky. Some of the lights in the room did not work. The shower did not get very hot, and the faucet handle for it needed maintenance. We also tried to go to the hottub, but the water was very dirty and stuck at 99 degrees (we tried to adjust to hotter and nothing happened) - the hottub room also smelled like it might be moldy. Overall based on this experience, I would probably not stay here again even though it looks great in the pictures on hotels.com.

When we entered the room, the floors hadn’t been vacuumed- there was debris on the floor. In the bathroom toilet there was a bloody napkin (?) when we arrived and the toilet wouldn’t flush. I didn’t want to touch anything in the room due to the lack of cleanliness.

The biggest issue was at the lodge itself was supposed to be open at 6 AM with staff, nobody showed up until after 7 AM. Had to get coffee next-door at the gas station. Not that big of a deal, but when there is no coffee maker in the room, it should be ready when the lodge is supposed to open at 6 AM.

The room smelled of smoke, the carpeted floors were dirty, spider webs and dust on ceiling and corners, large brown stain on side of bedding, and trash behind nightstand. Not what we expected to walk into. We checked in & out immediately. We were refunded for 3 of the nights since it was booked non refundable. I’m not gonna argue, but they should have had no problem issuing a full refund considering the room’s condition. And I do have pictures.

Horrible property. Room stinks with poop smell. Carpets are hardly cleaned (especially for long bed room), fire alarms are broken. Front desk persons were cooperative, but the manager was ridiculous. Property manager was good, understanding & she convinced the manager to deal promptly.

There was literally cockroaches in the bathroom when you turn on the light they run into the walls. We didn't even stay the two nights we paid we left at 11pm the second night after seeing the cockroaches. The bed sheets and blankets were filthy. The door to our room wouldn't close right. It's very run down and it's pricey. The only thing good is that you can bring your dogs for 20 dollars a night or dog which isn't bad. The lady was a little friendly but wouldn't let anyone check in until after 3 because they are cleaning the rooms. But they aren't even clean. Don't waste your money. Stay in Idaho springs much cleaner and nicer. Oh and it smelled like it had plumbing issues.
