Claridges 3 is one of ten stunning villas designed by acclaimed architect Michael Gomes in a gated development on the Platinum west coast of Barbados. Located just 130 yards from the beautiful and secluded Gibbs beach, it sits just 10 minutes from both Holetown and Speightstown, providing easy access to shopping and restaurants. Mullins beach and beach bar are just a short walk away.

Claridges 3 is a beautifully furnished, 3,000 sq ft, coral stone semi-detached villa consisting of 3 spacious double bedrooms, each with a large en-suite and walk through wardrobe. Marble, travertine and granite finishes give the villa a luxurious and stylish feel throughout. The main entrance leads to an open plan living/kitchen/dining area which itself opens on to a covered terrace and tropical gardens where guests can enjoy al fresco dining. A few steps further is a huge 220 ft communal swimming pool, with waterfalls, gazebo and a sunbed area where residents can soak up the brilliant year-round Barbados sunshine.

All bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning, a personal safe and hair dryer, and have their own private balcony or terrace. The first floor landing area contains a sofa bed, office desk and inkjet printer. Wireless broadband with download speeds of 50mbs provides all rooms with wifi. The main living area includes a 55” curved SUHD smart TV complete with access to Netflix, Apple TV, BBC iPlayer and all Sky channels including Sky Sports via UKTV. A Sonos sound bar provides surround sound audio. The large kitchen includes a wine fridge and an american style fridge freezer with ice maker.

Concessions on car hire are also available to tenants.

Liked the shared large pool & pool area and privacy it offered. All bedrooms had A/C units and the main rooms had ceiling fans including the outdoor deck. It had all need amenities like pool towel, bathroom towels, bed linens, and kitchen/cooking items, very similar to what you’d find in your own home. The location was a short walk (5 minutes) to the public beach. They had beach chairs that you could bring with. As it’s on the eastern side of the island, you could go to the beach for sunset and the waters always seemed calm with families or couples swimming. The villa has a gated access and was easily accessible from Gibbes Road. It’s not a far drive to Holetown if you want to go to the fully stocked (and always busy) grocery store - Massy’s - very much like a US or UK grocery store with pharmacy. Very much off the beaten path, very quiet and in a very nice area yet has easy access to the main roads. The villa was one of several in the Claridges complex and was exactly like the pictures and description. We would definitely recommend for families or 1-3 couples wanting to share the unit.

We had an unbelievable stay in this unit. Everything was absolutely perfect! Right from the initial contact email from the house manager (Anne) and the villa owner, all of the updates and access co-ordination as well as helping to give guidance throughout our stay. Honestly, this was the very best VRBO or rental experience we have had as a family that travels often.

Beautiful Villa

The villa and shared pool were fantastic. Spotless and well stocked. Firm mattresses (which I love) and choice of soft or firm pillow. Just a few blocks from a beautiful uncrowded beach that also had shady areas if you wanted them.The host was incredibly responsive and helpful as were the onsite staff.I gave the neighborhood 4 stars only because it was a little difficult to walk since the sidewalks are inconsistent and the roads narrow.I gave the website accuracy 4 stars because even thought the main page says 3 bedrooms, under the photos it says bedrooms (4) with 4 photos so that was confusing.Would definitely come again and stay in the same villa!

Lovely house very well appointed

The five of us spent a glorious 8 days here. The house and its surroundings was perfect. We headed most days to one of the best beaches in Barbados, but also loved hanging by the beautiful Pool. Great local restaurants. I would highly recommend this location for a vacation.

Claridges - Paradise Oasis

This is our 4th stay at Claridges. We specifically love this unit because of the owners. Without giving away names, they're fantastic folks who are super responsive. They maintain the place well, and everything is always up to date. The staff on site are always super helpful. 3 bedrooms w/ 3 ensuite bathrooms you can't beat the setup. The design and architecture of the Claridges is incredible. Pair that with Gibbs Beach, the best beach in Barbados, and on planet Earth, it's our favorite place to vacation. We don't stay anywhere else. Thanks for another amazing trip!

Great Location, very nice home. Loved the openness of the home and the decor. The flowers on the dining table were a nice treat. Very well appointed kitchen with excellent instruction manual on use of the villa. LOVED having all plastic drinking ware with all the beautiful tile floors, kept it safe. Not sure if the owner is aware - Leak in upstairs bedroom back corner wall. On outside you can see it is rotting the timbers on the eve. Didn't present a problem but just want the owner to be aware before more damage is done.
