Room was very hot, air condition was not working, only had a fan in the room, which was blowing hot air on us. Window could not be opened so felt like a prison, at 3am we couldn’t take it any longer and asked for another room with working air conditioning, was a bit better but still awful experience overall. Booked this hotel to use pool and jacuzzi but one day before our arrival told us that it will be closed for technical reason, just when we could cancel it for free, very sneaky move so that we cannot cancel it. Worst hotel experience ever, never again this place!! I would avoid it completely.

Great location, fantastic room

Excellent spacious, clean room made for a very pleasant stay. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Great location close to gig venues and city centre. Highly recommend.

Booked because of location and pool. Pool had restricted hours of use-4-8pm only, but then when we came back to use it it was not available as they had children’s classes there-no notice of this or apology even when complaining to customer services. Reception desk on arrival couldn’t have been more helpful young lady, on last day a miserable make called Scott was very grumpy that I asked for a receipt, he said I should get it from Expedia, i explained I had paid in full on arrival to reception which he again disputed until finally he said I was right but still would give me it until I actually checked out. Customer service eventually offered £30 voucher to be spent in another of their hotels- I declined as that was an insult -they would make more money out of our nightly rate than that by far. Never again and wouldn’t recommend which is a shame for the lady that helped us so kindly on arrival

Hotel was nice. Our room had a weird smell to it, but was very large and comfortable. We enjoyed the food at the onsite restaurant. There’s a lot of construction near the hotel, but parking was still easy as was navigating to public transportation.

Wonderful Stay

We stayed at the Glasgow Argyle hotel when we attended the Sound of Revival conference in Glasgow. The receptionist Ester was lovely and very welcoming. I enjoyed using the gym and my 2-year old loved it when I took her for a swim in the pool. They held our luggage for us after we checked out to enable us attend a meeting. We had a wonderful stay and would stay again if we visit Glasgow in the future.

Hotel experience was very good, what let it down was the leisure centre. Inadequate changing room full of water, no way of drying your swimming gear, caused my wife more grief than me, but we both had wet items to pack next morning.
