This rental is located in a nice building on a quiet, attractive street close to a vibrant Westend district that includes a botanical garden, several museums of the University of Glasgow, numerous quality eateries and shopping. Unfortunately, the layout of the rental itself is deeply flawed. The living room and kitchen have enough space, and are well-equipped and well-furnished. However, the bedroom and bathroom are severely cramped. One can access the bed (a British Double rather than a British King) from only one side and even that space is tight. You will have to store your luggage and most of your clothes in either the kitchen or the living room.Space is even more limited in the bathroom. Finding the space to put your body while opening or closing the inward-swinging door is a challenge; there is no way to open the door if you are sitting. The sink is a tiny basin on top of the toilet and the shower is a confining quarter-round unit that is difficult to use for most people and would probably be unusable if you are large.
