No sheets, towels, soap or toilet paper.

You need to pick up keys from Burleigh Letting Co - so if coming from airport it’s an additional 30 min round trip to get back to the property. We arrived late from flight and just wanted to have a shower and go to bed. When we finally got back after collecting keys we found there was NO sheets or pillow cases on the bed. Also realised there was no towels, soap, no toilet paper. We couldn’t shower without towels and had to sleep on a scratchy mattress protector and bare pillows. After multiple emails with hotels.com and with property management no one was able to help and the building manager told us that the apartment wasn’t supposed to be leased out and he has no idea what was going on. Finally the letting company got in touch and said they would send someone to sort. This was finally completed at about 1pm the next day. We got an uber and bought towels and soap etc. We asked for a nights compensation but this was denied several times by property manager. This makes me wonder if the apartment had been serviced at all prior to our visit. Aside from the lack of prior management, the apartment is in a new building, good views and easy walking to the beach. Also has a lovely pool area.

Property itself is nice but it was dirty. Was not cleaned to standard before our stay. Poo stains in toilet, pubic hair in bathroom, urine stains on floor of toilet.
