As a family of 6 (two under 5 and two pre teens) this place was great. Unfortunately we were put in the Astro building which i believe was the only one that hasnt been refubished yet so our room was quite run down. The fact there was only air conditioning in the bedroom was frustrating as it was very hot in the other room with one fan beside rhe TV - maybe a celing fan would work better. The kitchenette was poorly set out with the only plug above the sink so was quite dangerous trying to use toaster and jug while having them balance on the side of the sink. There was no chopping board, dish cloth/scrubber and the bowls were very small. I wasn't aware you had to take your own pool towels but we managed to make do as the room was serviced daily with fresh towels which was nice. The staff were very friendly and super helpful.

Our second time at Paradise was as good as the first. Whilst we now (almost) have a teenager, both our kids still enjoyed the activities and overall atmosphere of the resort.

We stayed in a Superior Room in the Captain’s Quarters, facing the quiet street out back, and it was perfect for us. The only thing that could be improved is having a fan in the bathroom, as it took quite a while for the steam to clear before you could use the mirror. There’s great family-oriented entertainment and plenty of activities for both kids and adults. The on-site convenience store was really handy. The pool and water park were both fantastic. The spa was always crowded with little kids, but that’s to be expected. The food was amazing and convenient, with a great selection. The staff were always friendly and accommodating too. We’ll definitely visit again in the future!

Fun filled for kids of all ages and accommodates the parents well also. Entire family had so much fun with constant entertainment and facilities. Even if you didn't go see other attractions etc on the gold coast you would enjoy just staying at the resort.

The room was brand new and clean and excellent. Except we didn’t come to stay in our room but to enjoy the resort. It was way too overcrowded and half the area including the hotel was a construction zone.

Great activities for the kids Breakfast buffet was nice Kids loved the water park Spa was nice Halloween train was unreal. Very kid friendly.... very noisy as full of kids, so if you have kids they will love it. Probably not a resort for kidless people as you may get annoyed, but awesome for families.

Cleaners did an awesome job! Loved having the beds made every day. Staff very kind, helpful and considerate. Food prices extremely high and food quality was very sub-standard. One of the staff at Penguins restaurant got annoyed with us for ordering milkshakes twice. When i pulled him up on it he apologised. Overall a great stay and kids loved it.

Our family had a wonderful stay! The hotel is very family-friendly — the school holiday facilities and activities for kids were amazing and kept them entertained throughout our stay. My two boys loved the pool area and the spa. Lots of activities for kids to enjoy. Our room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. I wish there were more food options but there are lots of dining areas nearby.

The staff was friendly and welcoming however kids were runing up and down the corridor late at night, tv was blasting from our neighbours room till after 11pm, and the pool was definitely not clean. The cleaners who made our room did a sloppy job.
