Very annoyed in terms of receiving messages of how I need to make myself available in their office hours to provide ID documentation and credit card.I have to come out of my course to fulfill that otherwise I would be locked out.Also a number of reminders telling me that I would be charged extra if I don’t clean up the dishes or throw the rubbish away.It wasn’t like I was attending a course or having a holiday.

Blues on Broadbeach weekend

I was so pleased with my last minute booking. The area was perfect for the Blues On Broadbeach event. So close to so many stages, but far enough away to enjoy our peaceful room. Generous sized apartment's with large deck area. Staff were happy and accommodating. We will definitely be back.

Comfort was minimal

I was disappointed that the advertised king bed in the master bedroom was actually 2 single beds put together. The mattresses were very uncomfortable and did not have a good sleep at all. On the 2nd night got up and slept on the lounge. Spoke to reception the next morning and they said bedding was done that way in case the requirement was 2 single beds. They sent housekeeping up and they had 2 put 2 mattress toppers on to try and make it more comfortable. It was better but not great. Also blinds in the main bedroom are broken and dont close properly, therefore too much light. Reception were very helpful but a week of sleeping in that bed was so uncomfortable. The lounge was very dirty and it seriously needs a good clean. The dryer did not have a setting knob control which i let reception know about when i checked out. The room on the 24th floor apartment 132 itself had a nice view but was definitely missing comfort.

Great location, easy walk to restaurants, cafes, grocery store, beach etc. Good room layout, clean. 35min on bus from Coolangatta airport with stop just down the road - super easy. The only thing I would comment on is we were in room 88, so I assumed it was on 8th floor but the key fob would not let us up lift to 8th floor. After much fluffing around and a call to office (we arrived after reception was closed) realised we were on the 18th floor, and so could use fob to access floor. (Yes - it was written on the key tag, but I was with my 2 boys and didn't think I needed instructions to use a lift) ha ha.

Loved: Amazing view of the beach, washing facilities, kitchen, large spaces, salt water pool was a delight, staff we met were friendly and happy to store our luggage after check out, kid friendly, price was good. Didn't Love: beds were so hard to sleep on - very hard, no pillow options - all low and soft, no washing liquid, reception had very limited hours, spa was broken first few days of our stay.

Great location if you have no vehicle. Close to shops, dining & walking distance to the beach. Directly across from the tram & Convention Centre. Room was tidy, provided everything including washing machine & dryer. A few stains visible on the lounges & carpet. Could do with a steam clean. Otherwise I enjoyed my stay.

Lovely apartment, spacious and modern. Huge master bed and large wardrobe. It is a bit noisy as it is on the main road. Easy flat walk to beach, restaurants and tram. Stayed in one bedroom apartment with views of the city.
