I paid so much for very less!! It's very old place; it was clean room but with no accessories, no glass in the washroom, no blanket on 3rd bed as we book 2-bedroom suit sofa bed was very old with lots of hair on it. 6 people room with 4 towels for 3 days no one bother to come clean the room. I call to ask for more towels. Breakfast is complimentary but dining hall is too small and very less option as when its empty no one there to refill those 3 trays. 550$ is a lot of money to pay for 1 night. I don't recommend also never go there again.

Overall all the staff was not welcoming at all. Speaking to reception seemed like a favor done to us by giving us a room which was booked online at least 3 weeks in advance. One staff member in particular seemed like he was opposed to booking rooms online when I asked about our family of 5 guests with a room that sleeps only 4. His answer was that even if I had entered 6 people for one room online, the system lets you book the room with only 2 queen beds which did not make sense to me because that has not happened to me in the last 20 years of online bookings. There's always at least a sofa bed when booking for 5. He then proceeds to tell us now that's the room we get! Then charged for the roll-away bed. Why is the hotel available on online platforms when this is what the staff has to say to the guests booking online? We were loudly called from behind multiple times during our stay to tell us how to park in the parking lot (not front facing), to tell us not to use the room towels in the pool and it wasn't polite! It's like he was everywhere watching and nitpicking everything. Rooms were small, packed, and not well organized. We felt a massive difference as we had just checked out of a Ramada in Pincher Creek which was an amazing experience. Will never stay at this hotel again!

Room with 2 bedrooms was decent enough. Only negatives were, 1. No sound proofing 2. Staff member tried to enter our room at 8 am (no idea why), 3. Breakfast area is tiny with dirty dishes left on the tables. Eventually a staff member appeared but his role doesn’t include cleaning tables (he just hangs around), so be prepared to clean the previous dishes away that others have left plus your own to save the next family needing to do so.

We had a 3 bed family suite. It is an older property. Our suite was filthy. There were cobwebs next to the coffee maker and microwave, a layer of dust on the non-working alarm clocks, stains on the curtains, hair and stains all over the bathtub walls, a layer of dust on the shampoo/conditioner/shower gel containers, stains and a hole in the shower curtain. The room was dark and felt like a prison...blank rooms with beds, side tables, and TVs with the cable box dangling haphazardly on top. The staff were nice and lobby area was fine. We cut our losses and stayed only one night even though we paid for two.

We have to overnight regularly in Golden, and have been trying to find place that feels like we get our monies worth. This place is run Ok but just isn't very clean or inviting. The breakfast area would be a miss. I don't think we will stay again.

For what this property is, it is good. Understand that it is an older hotel that could use some updating, so manage your expectations, and you will have a great stay like we did. The beds are clean and comfortable, it was quiet, and we enjoyed our stay.

A bit tired. Breakfast was a bit basic but OK. Guests should be instructed not to have loud conversations in corridors when guests are trying to sleep. Also there is a need to ensure young children do not play in corridors, run or shout.
