Tal y Gaer Cottage, Fishguard
Located on a beef farm at Pwllderi, Tal y Gaer Cottage has the most amazing sea views stretching from St David's Head right across the Irish Sea towards Strumble Head.
The Pembrokeshire Coast Path can be accessed some 200 metres from the cottage door and behind the cottage the path leads up to the volcanic outcrop, Garn Fawr.
The cottage is light, airy, comfortable and tastefully decorated, packed with character and charm.
Pembrokeshire boasts many beautiful beaches and the neighbouring beaches of Aber Bach and Aber Mawr are only a few miles from the cottage.
The wood burner and the dramatic seas make Tal y Gaer Cottage an excellent choice for a winter break.
ACCOMMODATION
Tal y Gaer Cottage sleeps 4 in 2 bedrooms: 1 king size and 1 twin
UPSTAIRS
Bedroom 1: king size iron bedstead dressed with Welsh bedspread, TV, double wardrobe and antique furniture, sea and hill views (Garn Fawr)
Bedroom 2: twin beds dressed with Welsh bedspreads, handmade country pine wardrobe, chest with mirror, bedside cabinet, TV, sea views. Both bedrooms have original wide floor boards
DOWNSTAIRS
Living room: two 2-seater sofas, TV, log burning stove, items of occasional furniture, sea views
Dining area: dining table and 4 chairs, leather armchair, ornamental fireplace, sea views, carpet flooring
Bathroom: bath with shower over, hand basin, WC, heated towel rail
Snug: reading table and chair, slate floor
Kitchen: cream shaker style kitchen with electric oven, ceramic hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, slate floor
Conservatory: cane seating, coffee table, slate floor, sea views and door leading to the garden
Utility room: washing machine, tumble dryer, Belfast sink
OUTSIDE
Private large garden surrounds the cottage with lawns, stone patio table and benches, deck style seating and BBQ upon request. Ample parking on the yard adjacent to the cottage.
