The breakfast is great, it has variety, a small western option with toast fruit , yogourt, coffe, and a station with fish options, sunny side eggs and omellets, they also have a pork stew that is very tasty with potatoes. Tons of japanese style side dishes, soups and soba noodles. Complementary drinks, be aware that the restaurant is only open for breakfast and late night soba noodles from 930 to 11 pm. Small portion The hotel is 30 min walk from Gotemba station, but a taxy from There will cost you 12 bucks ( canadian) just use your taxi go app. They have free ebikes for up to 2 hours and after you just have to pay 200 yen per hour. If you are planning to go to mount Fuji the bus from gotemba station is about a bit longer tenn an hour. The views from the area and the terrace of mount fuji are Breath taking. The onsen is small but has 3 pools and sauna. You will be away from foreing tourist in this location. Explore the area after or before shopping at Gotmba outlet malls. The staff is shy but amazing and very polite.

Very quiet and rooms were clean. Small but thats typical for a japanese hotel. Great amenities. Only issue was the limited taxis. Could not find any taxis in the area using go taxi app. Was able to get a taxi coordinated with the assistance of front desk, which was very helpful. Recommend for stay but might be difficult to get around if you dont have your own vehicle.

Favourite hotel out of 5 spent at on a 14-day trip through Japan. Comfortable beds, beautiful bath house offering both cold & hot pools, free ramen at night, nice pyjamas, friendly staff, delicious brunch and central location. Would go out of my way to stay here again. We stayed here before hiking Mt Fuji! Best meal of our whole trip was a Japanese Wagyu grill down the street too!

This hotel has a lovely onsen, and spectacular views of Mount Fuji from the roof terrace which has a heated foot bath It is convenient for the bus to see the surrounding area, nice and quiet, with a woods where herons nest next door. However it is fairly remote, in that you have to walk for about half an hour to reach shops or restaurants. Staff were kind and helpful. The food at breakfast was plentiful and varied, with sufficient vegetarian options. There are laundry facilities and ice, and the local shops include a discount store where we got various hair accessories, Sanrio items and sweets for 100 yen. We really enjoyed our stay and the little bus to the funicular railway and cable cars and the Lake Ashi cruise.

Absolutely wonderful experience. Close to a park, very well maintained facilities with lots to do: from great onsen, riding bicycles to delicious food. Highly recommend if you are looking to get away from the noise of big city.

Outstanding stay but location was an issue. Difficult to get a bite after 6 pm unless you brought food to microwave from the 7 Eleven. This journey was a 2 kilometre walk in the dark. The hotel offered free Ramen ( one flavour) after 9.30 pm. A shuttle would make this stay opulent. The view from our window says it.

This is a hotel beside a beautiful wood and garden with a wonderful onsen/spa and a FABULOUS view of Mt Fuji. The rooftop footbath with Fuji view is superb. Unfortunately, the hotel is best for guests who have a car or are happy to taxi everywhere.
