Potential of being good

This hotel has the potential to be a really good hotel. Great design, comfortable rooms, a nice bar and we really love the service and quality of Brasserie Draken. Unfortunately the hotel really need to do something about the appalling level of housekeeping, they either forgot to clean the room at all, or it’s half cleaned with missing towels, dirty glasses/coffee cups etc. We stayed for 4 night and not once was the room properly cleaned. Unfortunately there also seems to be an issue with staffing at reception, no one picks up the phone when you try to call and if you go down to reception to get help you’d be waiting for at least 15min as it’s too busy with guests checking in/checking out.

Hotel was amazing, we had a deluxe room with stunning views. The staff are a credit, very helpful. The bed is ridiculously comfy!! Bathroom amenities were great, nice addition of the bathrobe. Close to gothenburg city and lots of restaurants around.

The hotel was not full and i was allocated a room where there had clearly been a leak and the walls were covered over with plaster cast and not painted over. I am not sure what cleaning took place during the stay, glasses were not collected, the tea bags were not replenised and the towels etc in the bathroom were not folded/tidied
