We visited the hotel in February 2026 to celebrate Valentine’s Day. The location is currently surrounded by major construction work, which makes the area less inviting than expected. On the day of arrival – about three hours before check-in – we were informed that the spa was closed due to a water leak. At that point, we were already on the train to Gothenburg. The spa was an important reason for choosing this hotel. The hotel offered discounted access to another spa 15 minutes away or the possibility to book treatments at an extra cost. However, since it was Valentine’s Day, availability was very limited and this was not the experience we had planned. Overall, the late notice significantly affected our stay and we left disappointed.
