1 night stay as part of a tour of Andalusia- great location in the old town below Alhambra palace - our room had windows in every direction to watch the sunset and sunrise. Well equipped, comfortable and very friendly helpful staff. Good breakfast- love this hotel

The inconveniences (such as very limited car access if you rented one, as we did) are all related to what makes this location so special, and the hotel helps wonderfully by paying for a specific parking garage and a taxi from there to the hotel, which takes no more than 10 or 15 minutes.

A great hotel in a perfect location.

Our first impression of the hotel as we walked in through the front door was great: the internal courtyard is very impressive and characterful and made us feel like we were properly in Spain. The welcome on arrival was very pleasant and check in was efficient. The room itself was very spacious and comfortable fitted with effective a/c and had good storage space. The hot and cold breakfast buffet was very varied with lots to choose from. The location of the hotel was just perfect: slightly set back from the river, right in the middle of the old Moorish Albaicin district and with views of the Alhambra.

The staff was amazing at this hotel. We were only there for one night, but they assisted us several times and made our visit more enjoyable. (Thank you!) The hotel is off a much-used tiny street so you do need to walk a little and climb some steps to get to the hotel, but it is far enough away that noise did not bother us. The location was convenient - many restaurants are within walking distance. There was even a place to watch Flamenco right around the corner! The breakfast had many options available too.

We loved the location, breakfast, and character of this hotel. In addition, we got wonderful help from the front desk scoring next day tickets for the Alhambra. Our window faced a bar that was pretty noisy till 3am but closing it took care of most of the nuisance.

Great Stay!

This was a unique experience. Staying here was like being an old film. We had a view of the Alhambra from our room. The room was oddly shaped, and we even had a loft that we did not use. The room was rather small, but functional. The mattress was comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful! The our bathroom was spacious and clean. The hotel is a great location (the Albacin neighborhood is just put the steps). The street below is noisy, but the double windows drowned out the noise when fully closed. You need to climb up about 50 feet of stairs to get to the hotel building. We had no problem with this, but we ran into some older folks that did.

Ideally situated. Located in a historic building.

Hotel built in a building dating from 1520 so it is not ultra luxurious. But it is very clean and comfortable. Breakfast is in a smallish room and can seem very cramped when full. Ideally situated for the Alhambra and Albaycin neighborhood.

It was a historical renovation, tastefully done, each room slightly different from the next and a relaxing lobby. The building is tucked away, not on the street. The best part, however, was how helpful the staff were. They helped locate places we had booked, like flamenco dances up in the caves, gave us maps and directions for everything, stored our luggage, helped with boarding passes, and were just generally friendly and available.
