First the smell of weed was so strong I had a difficult time sleeping. Second, I was awakened by drilling and hammering at 7am in the room next to mine. Third, the shower was either cold or very hot there no in between. When trying to adjust there was an audible click coming from the handle when going from cold to hot and back. I go to flagstaff once a month for work and will not be staying there again.

I've stayed at this La Quinta a few times. It seems to be slowly going downhill. This visit was for three nights when visiting the Flagstaff area. The front desk staff are exceptional and the service is good. The room was okay. The bed was moderately comfortable (I realize that is subjective). The A/C Unit worked, but would get VERY loud within 2-3 minutes. Fortunately we were able to open the window to cool it down in the room. The TV service is really pointless. It's about 20 channels that no one watches. I'm not sure why even have a TV without decent cable service. Most disappointing is that the breakfast has really gone downhill. Eggs floating in water. Undercooked bacon. Two basic bread choices (white and white bagel) and some packaged oatmeal. Now if you want pancakes or waffles, there are like 4 different variants of that, but for those wanting a healthier option, good luck. The coffee was some of the worst I've ever had. Not sure I'd stay in this location again unless things improve.

Though the location is good, I had a below average and rushed experience at check in. I liked the choices for dining in the area. However, the mattress and pillows were worn down and super uncomfortable. The chair by the work table had not been cleaned since a long time. The older gentleman who set up the breakfast seem to be saving the day with his smile but the front desk day staff was not very friendly or welcoming.

We booked the hotel for the kids to swim around, but upon arrival we got notified that the pool has been closed and hot tub closed as well. Noone notified us about that prior to our arrival or upon booking, the manager said only their main website has this information, but if booked through third party such as Expedia, they too bad, they don’t share this information. Sad and ruined joy for kids.

Kind and compassionate

They were very accommodating to me, I broke down and had to have my rig fixed so they allowed me to park my Uhaul there for an extra few hours while my truck was getting fixed, my overnight stay was quite and clean, the staff was kind and professional!
