3 - The pool was a huge part of our stay this weekend to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. Sadly, due to the pool being closed our entire stay, I sent the birthday guest home early and end my daughter's birthday celebration early. On top of that, I’m not sure if it's due to my complaint, the older gentleman at the front desk was not friendly and lacked hospitality. Didn't even make eye contact with us when paying for our snacks. He apologized but it was not sincere. Thankfully Lara and the other young lady at the front desk were great. We appreciate the hospitality and kindness. We are also thankful that the hotel discounted one of our nights due to pool inconvenience. Breakfast was delicious but again some of the staff were not friendly. They look at you like you are an inconvenience. It’s sad because the gentleman who checked us in for breakfast was so nice. The complimentary drinks were great. I am giving the 3 due to pool and some of the unfriendly staff.

Clean and very quiet room. Even on the second floor where the pool entrance and bar is, we didn't hear anything outside our room. The shower was super nice after a long day of travel and I really appreciated the complimentary breakfast!

It was really an excellent stay... we had originally chosen this property because we heard about the great location, wonderful breakfast in the pool,/hot tub area. Unfortunately, the hot tub was closed for maintenance during our stay- but honestly, the great shower in the room almost made up for it. We will definitely return anytime. We are staying overnight in the Grand Rapids area.. staff was wonderful in the restaurants and in the hotel.

Would have been an awesome stay other than the fighting all night on our floor. It was New Year's Eve so we expected some noise but not a fight that required security and eventually police to be involved. The grandsons loved the pool, hot tub and breakfast. Would recommend on any "normal" night.
