Step outside to enjoy a spacious decking area with seating and another shared outdoor space with a large fire pit. Perfect for serene evenings under the stars or, by day, mesmerising views over Whitbarrow Scar and beyond.

With the convenience of off-street parking and an EV charger available, your stay promises to be as effortless as it is memorable.

You'll enjoy nature at its best, with star gazing, birdsong, wildlife, and, if you're lucky, you may catch the Aurora. If you love cycling, walking, wild swimming, paddling, running, exploring nature or simply sitting still watching the world go by, the L'Atelier is for you.

The L'Atelier is situated down a narrow lane with frequent horses and walkers and shares the grounds with the Cycle Barn next door.

The surroundings offer a peaceful and tranquil space for your retreat. The South Lakes are on the doorstep, and Grange-Over-Sands, Cartmel, Windermere, Coniston, and Kendal are all only a short drive away.

All ground floor:
Spacious open-plan living space comprising a double bed with bedside tables, a two-seat sofa, a log burner, a kitchen with modern appliances, and a dining area, all under vaulted ceilings that create a sense of openness and relaxation.
Step into the modern shower room with a toilet and basin designed for comfort and pampering.
Outside is a large decking area with a table, two chairs, and a fire pit; the outlook has beautiful views over woodland and fields.

The rental price includes bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi, services, and a starter supply of essentials, including toilet paper, hand soap, dishwashing liquid, tea, coffee, milk, sugar, etc. 
Arrival time: 16:00 / Departure time 10:00 with one night stays available
Modern electric radiators throughout.
Pets and smoking (including vaping and e-cigarettes) are not permitted.
A starter supply of wood, kindling, and firelighters for the wood-burning stove is provided (usually sufficient for the first night).
Off-street parking for one car.
Safe lock-ups are available for bikes.
7kw EV charger available on-site, paying using the Charge Assist app.
A travel cot & a high chair are not provided, so please bring these if required.
39" Freeview Smart TV - your own accounts are required for the streaming services.
L'Atelier Lodge sits adjacent to the Cycle Barn, which can be hired separately.
