Staff member when checking was rude and on her cell phone. The room looked horrible; the showerhead did not work well. Internet was extremely slow and the noise from the bottom level could be heard all the way up to where we were on the second floor. The worst experience we've ever had.

The hotel is acceptable, but it urgently needs renovation. The third floor is definitely in poor condition, and the bathrooms on that floor require serious work. I don’t understand how those rooms are still offered before guests inevitably request a room change. The housekeeping staff was rude during the shift when we asked to have our room cleaned. The beds are okay, but the mattresses need to be updated. Sheets and towels are good, but the bathrooms are extremely small. Great Neck truly needs a better hotel option. This property has a good location and decent service, but it requires significant improvements.

I have stayed at The Andrew several times. The staff are helpful and friendly; rooms are clean and breakfast is included. The surrounding neighborhood has lots of shops and restaurants. It is safe and walkable. The LIRR is literally across the street so it makes accessing Manhattan super easy and convenient. No need to pay crazy NYC prices for a room or deal with the crowds and the noise. The LIRR gets you there quickly.

It was a 7-10 experience ice machine isn’t the best no microwave in the room so kinda was an inconvenience. The ac needed the filter cleaned and the room gets hot so that was another inconvenience. There was also blood on towels. Other than that it was good

The advertisement about parking is deceptive at best. They advertise “valet” but even if you park the care yourself, they want to charge you $19.00 per day. Valet parking…$19.00 per day. There is plenty of street parking (metered) and you receive 30 min per quarter. But, guess what, the front desk and valet refuse to give you quarters for the meters. So, bring plenty of quarters and don’t bother paying for parking. It’s not worth it. In terms of the rooms, overpriced and need serious modernization. For the price they are charging, you should expect better services whether quality towels or toiletries. They advertise a “restaurant on-site.” We arrived at 6pm on Friday and the restaurant had closed at 5:30. Very disappointing. The toilet in a room was small, more for children than adults. We stayed in room #202 which was at one end of the floor. It smelled musty and some of the light builds in the 5-6 lamps were not working. On a good note, the complimentary breakfast was good and the staff who served breakfast were kind and very nice. Otherwise, be careful, this hotel is across the street from the local rail station. This hotel is prob a 5 out of 10 with the price tag and lack of modern amenities/room as the worse problems.

Stayed here for a quick overnight business stay. It is walking distance to many shops and restaurants (for location deserves 5 stars). Hotel room itself, a bit run down, but clean. The floor smelled heavily of cigarette when I got off the elevator, but luckily, my room didn't.
