The east Norfolk village of Hemsby is split into two parts, Hemsby village and Hemsby Beach. Beach Road leads you approximately one mile to the area known as Hemsby Beach, with a variety of cafés, restaurants and takeaways, various amusement arcades, children's funfair rides, and traditional seaside shops. The beach has miles of golden sandy coastline edged with dunes. Just 7 miles' drive and you arrive in Great Yarmouth, with beautiful sandy beaches and a mile-long promenade which you can enjoy in a horse and carriage, a charming quayside, pier with entertainment, indoor and outdoor attractions, museums, gardens, restaurants and fast food outlets. The bustling town centre offers seaside gift shops, a good general shopping centre and a traditional market.
