The large living room serves as a central family meeting place, and with its beautiful kitchen, it will please not only amateur cooks. While some enjoy the evenings with a crackling fireplace and a glass of wine, the others can have fun playing in the activity room. Three sides of the house are surrounded by the spacious terrace, where you can barbecue together, sunbathe or watch your children playing on the lawn.



Gjerrild is located at the tip of the nose of Djursland, that is, with coast on several sides. Look forward to wonderful swimming days and fishing trips, which you can reach on foot or by bike. Further inland on the peninsula you will encounter hilly beech forests and the disused Sostrup Castle monastery, tranquil lakes and abundant wildlife. The area around Gjerrild is not overcrowded and is easily accessible via disused railroad lines and small roads.

Also visit Mols Bjerge National Park in the southern part of the peninsula and experience the beautiful nature while hiking. Also go to Grenaa and visit the Kattegat Center and experience the city on the Kattegat.
