I know what "island time" is, but they take this to another level...s...l...o...w and r..e..l..a..x..e..d. We had hand towels and wash cloths on the first day, but after that housekeeping never gave us another...until the last day we did get a hand towel. The water pressure in our second floor unit was WIMPY...can't imagine what it was like on the third floor. The location is beautiful...great beach...but there is new construction on the northside and they were building shelter for the outdoor pizza oven...nothing like hearing power tools while on the beach.

Initially, the location of the establishment was inconveniently far from the airport. Additionally, all prices were excessive, including taxi fares. I found the absence of a reputable coffee shop in the vicinity, particularly considering the subpar quality of coffee served at the resort, to be disappointing. However, I must acknowledge the beauty of the resort, particularly the beachfront rooms.

Our beachfront room was great. A large fully equipped room with a great view. The grounds were beautiful. We went with the all inclusive plan. The food was average at best. All animal proteins were overcooked from eggs to lobster and fish to hamburgers. The only meal that wasn’t overcooked Was a hamburger that I watched being cooked. Service staff was friendly, but extremely slow. Other than a buffet meal, from seating to delivery of food generally took 45 minutes to 2 hours. Would visit again, but leave off the all inclusive. Bar service was great. Friendly and quick. Spa was clean, relaxing and staffed with accommodating friendly staff.

Stay was ok. A little expensive for what it was. Staff was somewhat friendly. There is only one restaurant and we experienced long wait times. Very pricey as well. Buffet was 55USD per adult. We got there on Valentine’s Day and the buffet was $240USD per couple which was crazy. Another complaint I would have is the chairs by the pool and beach, if you don’t get your towels out and reserve a spot before 10:00am then you will be out of luck for the day. The property overall was well kept and the beach was as well. Overall a decent stay but I can’t say I would be back.

The place is okay but it seems a little tired. There is not much to do at there resort and it seems as though the resort doesn't put much effort into ensuring guest satisfaction. Each morning you have to race other guests for a chair by the pool. There are very limited activities to do around the resort. The good USD mediocre at best. On the plus side it's clean and the staff are helpful.

This resort is on the beach and everything about it was wonderful. The staff could not have been nicer, the food was good and being all inclusive the drinks were many. Excursions were great and I can see going here every year.

Amazing pool area, clean rooms, stellar beach, nice spa & restaurant. It is great you can walk to many different restaurants. I felt this was more to my liking than the all inclusive meal plan you can pay for. There would be 2 issues that I would state. Having a kettle with packages of instant coffee is really below standard in my opinion for the price of the stay. The other issues is the cruise people that show up with a day pass and take up the pool lounge chairs. I personally feel this area should be dedicated to the those staying at the resort. Cruisers should be restricted to the beach.

The property was on the beach; however, the hot tub did not work. The restaurant was terrible, not the food but the service. You would sit there for almost an hour waiting for a simple dish. Several times, we were the only ones at the restaurant too.

Disappointed

Disappointed for a resort. Upon our check in to our King room, it had a non working AC with a clogged sink, clearly a sign of very poor quality checks. Also there was Noisy construction site for a new Bay Garden building outside our patio balcony which was not disclosed to us. There was no "garden view" as advertised. The property had a quaint homeley family feel. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly and made efforts to alleviate any difficulties. Sadly there were a few issues with the hot water, toilet pressure and stuck drawers. Overall however the experience was very enjoyable.

We had an incredible time here. The staff is amazing they accommodated our kosher needs perfectly. The layout of the resort and the beach and pool as well as all the amenities included in our stay made for an absolutely wonderful experience.

The wait staff and staff at the coffee bar were amazing. What I DID NOT like is the front desk staff did not give us what comes in the all-inclusive package. Spending money outside of what we could have saved if the package was explained. As a couple who was to be married at the location, they put us in a room right next to CONSTRUCTION. They did move us after going back and forth with the front desk. This was unacceptable and not a good look for Bay Gardens Beach Resort and Spa.

Even though the location was great (right on a nice, clean beach), the rooms were disgusting. We rented a one bedroom. Water was leaking from one wall in the bathroom. There were a lot of termites in the room. On the last day the hot water stopped flowing. We left and no one fixed our hot water. The hotel management tried to be very good-natured with us and promised to return some money to us. When we left the hotel, they gave us a completely different bill and charged us almost nothing. Never recommended this hotel.
