The hotel was good on the whole, however our rooms/balconies, looked out onto a building covered in scaffolding, which was blowing in the wind, which was not very pleasant, unable to sit on balcony. Would have been good to know that beforehand, might have booked elsewhere.

I had a wonderful stay at the Verdi Gzira in Malta and cannot recommend it highly enough. The hotel itself is modern, stylish, and immaculately maintained, with comfortable rooms and a relaxed yet elegant atmosphere that makes you feel at ease the moment you arrive. Everything felt thoughtfully designed, from the public spaces to the smaller details that make a stay truly enjoyable. What really sets the Verdi Gzira apart, however, is the staff. Every single member of the team was genuinely warm, welcoming, and friendly throughout my stay. Whether at reception, in the restaurant, or at the bar, the service was consistently outstanding. The restaurant and bar staff deserve special mention for their attentiveness, professionalism, and positive energy. They went out of their way to make guests feel valued, remembered preferences, and always had a smile and a kind word to share. It’s rare to find a hotel where the service feels so sincere and effortless. The team at Verdi Gzira truly elevate the entire experience and turn a great hotel into a memorable one.
