The room was clean and well appointed. It is right on a very nice beach, on a beautiful property. Unfortunately, the bed was incredibly uncomfortable, it seems the mattresses are in need of replacement.

The bathroom smelled like sewage. They tried to fix it but it didn’t completely remove the smell. The units are quite dated and old. The sofa is lumpy and uncomfortable. They had the windows open when we arrived to air out the smell and since there are no screens on the windows there were mosquitoes in the unit.

This two story duplex was amazing! The view was fantastic from the balcony. The kitchen was well stocked for what we needed. I love that they have a bbq outside available to use. And a shovel for hot water beach! The access to Hahei beach is unbeatable—it felt like having a private beach. I even used the hot tub! This was a bit cumbersome and I could remove the cover completely, but still fun. Othe than the lack of beach chairs—it was perfect!

Beautiful beach and area, for a small place Hahei has a good selection of eateries and one great fine dining restaurant...The Church, great place on the Cormandel peninsula...would have stayed longer if I had known! Beach bungalow had everything we needed and was well stocked.

Nice property . Would be even nicer if there was an option for early checkin. Stayed in Studio garden view - Laundry was free and nearby however facilities were very old, dryer was tiny and laundry should be updated. In studio garden view #1 , door to shower in needed fixing.

Location can't be beat. The facility is a combination RV/Camping park and motel. The location is right on beautiful Hahei Beach. The front desk staff is wonderful and room was ready early. We stayed in a motel unit a short walk from the water. Unit was clean with evident updates over time. The pull out sofa is the next piece needing replacement as it was broken down. The onsite snack bar, bar, and band shell was centrally located and very lively. We had everything we needed and wanted to be close to the beach. Very good value for a popular weekend stay. Enjoy staying here with realistic expectations knowing you are not at a Maui, Miami or Caribbean beach resort. It gave us the sense of what Maui was like 50 plus years ago...relaxed and uncrowded.

Stayed in a self contained cabin which was lovely, lived on the deck for much of my five day stay. Good facilities in the cabin, although I would have liked some indoor hanging area it wouldn’t stop me from returning as it was minor. Great bar with some good good options, easy access to the beach, a nice stroll into “town”, friendly staff and great value. Lovely seaside place, will return if I’m lucky enough to get to visit charming Hahei again

Beautiful views from the sea view villa. We enjoyed our private hot tub booking. Staff was accommodating. Beach is gorgeous. Manager was quick to professionally address a minor issue we had.

This property is in need of complete refurbishment. Carpet worn, sofa so worn and dirty looking we wouldn’t sit on it. Damp smell on entering the property and unpleasant smell from bathroom sink. Kitchen sink and mugs stained. Bathroom sink and toilet stained. Bathroom extractor fan didn’t work properly, after one shower bathroom and patio door and window steamed up. Freezer compartment in fridge needed defrosting, the freezer compartment door couldn’t shut. Informed reception of faulty extractor, dirty toilet and kitchen ceiling bulb flickering. They fixed the ceiling bulb, put bleach down the toilet (toilet was still stained and looked no different)) and apparently fixed the extractor but there was no change to that either. Do not book this property.

Efficient check-in, clean, convenient.

We enjoyed our stay at Ha Hei. Mother Nature gave us a storm. The check-in was fast efficient and friendly. The four person cabin clean and tidy and with hot water showers. All amenities including the beach are a short walk.

Location is fantastic. Be prepared for some noise (camping spots are all around the property and close to each other, even if you are in a cabin) but everyone was friendly and family-oriented. Eating area is a little pricey but very nice and great place to hang out. Access to beach is easy and fun. We were in a larger cabin but a smaller family, so we couldn't really use it to its full potential. Wished they had provided a few things we didn't have with us (shampoo) but generally found the cabin well-outfitted and clean and functional (albeit old/had been decades since it was updated). Parking was easy. Highly recommend the property generally.
