The hotel was OK, but it was the least gracious and had the least appealing breakfast of all of the hotel stays we did in April-May 2025 in Japan (a total of 6 hotels in various cities). I would describe it as adequate, clean and safe, with its major advantage being its proximity to both the train station and Odawara Castle.

Affordable and Convenient Location

Friendly and helpful staff. Awesome breakfast, home cooking style. Excellent for simple, budget travel. 5 minutes to Odawara castle complex. 5 minutes to train station and bus stops. 5 minutes to many restaurants. Happy to have stayed here.

The staff were helpful & friendly. The room was small yet met our needs. The hotel is closer to the Takebashi station than it is to the Kudanshita station, which is useful information for travelers. Breakfast is basic but good for getting out early.

Very close to the train station. Fine for one night. Very firm mattresses. Maybe too firm. We asked for extra pillows at the desk and got them. Breakfast was very basic, even though we usually like Japanese breakfast. Try the free foot bath on the 14th floor of the building by the station.

We stayed here for 2 nights as a closer and cost efficient alternative to Hakone. The staffs were accomodating, and the room size is relatively large for Japanese hotel standard. During our stay, they also provide complimentary breakfast which made our stay very memorable. Location is very strategic to the train station, making our next part of journey to be easier. Highly recommended !

Value for money.

Little dated compared to some other hotels. But for the price it was excellent value for money. Receptionists made us feel welcome and could speak English. Checking in and out was a breeze.
